after aircond problem(yet to be fixed), now come heat/temp issue. everytime kena jam sure temp rise to 4/5 bar. when i look at the fan when its 4/5 bar,its not moving but when i turn on the aircond with the a/c button on, the fan spin.
some says fan motor, some says temp sensor. kinda tight budget as need to repair aircond too. any tips to check which at faulty?

p/s: not only the people inside hot, but the car as well doh.gif

glad to hear our sifu david car can start loudly after the flood.
just changed my cooling coil few weeks back, got 5 holes at the coil so decided just change it & damaged me rm480.
my car now reached 180,000+ km mileage, bought it as 2nd hand clocked around 120,000km 3 years ago.
thinking of changing its timing belt before raya hopefully.
apart from timing belt, i heard we can also change aircond, alternator belt, plug seal & gasket cover.
what else can be done during this process?

4 simple phrase - sell kar bai VIOS. There's no cheap horse powah to say. U can invest hundreds on add-on equipments, but all you get is butt dyno a.k.a placebo. To have a smoother ride, add on voltage stabilizer, put a 7 point grounding extend all the way to cabin then to the tail lamp section would help to reduce electric current surge. Usually, remove catcon will restore a few horses from the farm, but only applicable to mid/high range RPM. Trade off is, lower RPM will be less crunchy in my opinion. Catback exhaust replacement would get u a minor 0-3% horses as well, but do make sure the mid box got enough feedback to sustain your mid range RPM. I'm using EVERCO aftermarket catback full set, currently running on 60.8wheel horse power. Noise supression is fairly impressive considering the performance it gave, noise level close to stock!
What a huge troll!
*
can teach me what this catback is?
my current exhaust setup is catcon removed, install tabung & ori muffler changed to cheapo s-flow due to bocor berlubang.
wanna change the muffler only for better pick up & a little bass. few advise me to take straight flow as my sawi is manual. donno which size to buy. can recommend?

top set kit
mine savvy need to do top overhaul as exhaust keep on spitting oil & white smoke. as for the link above, is the parts enough to get the job done?
asked 2 workshops & both told me they need to grind the valve. is it complusary & necessary to grind the valve? because few friends do not agree to the grinding as it might make the valve wall thinner.

one more thing, can i just change the clutch bearing only without changing the clutch plate again?

Clutch plate + clutch cover + bearing is only about RM300. I think workmanship for replacing the bearing will cost you a bomb ady. Why not change them all, and keep the clutch cover for emergency or benefit others in case needed in future. HOWEVER, if your magician say changing the bearing will only cost you some 100+, then he's right no point spend on others, but I guess highly unlikely. Gear oil alone + labor ady cost you around 100++.
*
guess its more than clutch, the 5ifth gear started to kickback. overhaul gearbox la gini cry.gif

If Iyam not mistaken sawi gearbox need 3.5L total of oil. Renautech use 4botolx1L.

I got one question. icon_question.gif  I have to change my sawi tyres soon as all front already botak and 2 tyres got sumpik on the sidewall already (tayar x bocor,cume supik je). Previous car owner use 175/50r15 NCT, but I think the tyre sidewall too thin for my liking, easily sumpik/tear/scarp. According to the tyre size calculator from this site CarBieber
Rolling circumference/ukur lilit tayar:
175/50R15-->1676.86mm[standard sawi 15"]
165/60R14-->1669.62mm[standard sawi 14", beza -0.43% dari 15"]
195/50R15-->1737.17mm[beza +3.6% dari saiz standard]
185/65R14-->1797.79mm[beza +7.2% dari saiz standard] (davidke20 said in other post "I'm using 185/65R14, sagat siot almost every speedbumps, every time i use Jln Banting Klang, konpem sagat giler")
So, beza +7% sure sagat conform. But what about 195/50R15, does it sagat or not? Any other tyre size recommended? hmm.gif  My budget is RM180/tyre.

ps: I may also have to change the rims as the old one got some minor bends.
*
camner sumpik kat sidewall tu?adakah mengelupas?is it safe in long term?
185/55/14 tu saiz myvi kan,pakai kat rim ori 14 ka?
i only have 2 experience with tyre,165/55/14 & 165/60/14. between both, i suggest 165/60 for comfort and less bumpy where else the 165/55 sure give faster and lighter acceleration.
for sidewall, a pomen told me there 2 type of tyre round & square. round type can be found at continental brand while the square type is common. the different just that if chamber screw got screwed, the round type rosak easily. correct me if im wrong notworthy.gif

wow,nice review on the tyre. lucky ayam use 14" stock rim.

well, worst come to worst for my savvy. on my way back home from work, was overtaking another sawi on 5ifth gear & dang, there goes my gear stick stuck at tje 5ifth gear lane. luckily the gear didnt engage & on free gear. pull my car aside & try to push the lever but nothing work. called up my pomen & tow it to his workshop. need to wait tomorrow for checkup.
a brief explanation by pomen, my 5ifth gear keep on kickback because the copper syncro used as the grapple hook for the shift to engage already washed away from my previous gear oil leak at the driveshaft boot.
asked kirol san, he said just open up the black cover at the gearbox to unveil the 5ifth gear no need to take out the whole gearbox down.
hope things can be repair & parts are available.

just want to share what happened to my 5th gear. the pic i share is the 5th fork. the one on the left is the normal while mine at the right.
the rubber gone due to previous d'shaft boot torn & gear oil leak kaw2..the reason my gear jammed the other was the centre shaft bengkok badly already. luckily my pomen able to find replacement for the shaft..now left the just the 5th fork.
