ok guy i have a 2005 M savvy

While driving, Suddenly car cannot go in any gear middle of the road.
No any broken sound, dont have any sign of hard to enter Gear.
But reverse gear normal la.

Nearby workshop tow back to shop.

After some checking, the mech told that was gear box problem.
Not clutch or anything.

The mech suggest to replace another unit gearbox. any suggestion? was qoute gearbox for 2.2k & not include workman ship.

Not feeling to give up the car yet. Really is a good small car petrol saving car.
*
possible its just clutch cable putus?
gear oil got?
better bring it to renaultech or rs

hi. noticed that when i opened the door, there is no longer wheezing sound like usual. is my clutch pump dead? scared to turn on the engine  sad.gif
*
is your cabin light on? if not on means door switch is broken. try open other doors.
ya. you can start engine. the wheezing sound is the pump charging. if the accumulator is already full.. then no need charging again.

i use superglue to glue back. normal rm1 superglue will do as its just simple plastics.

i open by using knife, then use screw driver kiau a bit then open. no twisting.
but i think twisting is ok.

remember to resolder yours. otherwise will come back again.

so confirm saga or viva engine oil filter cannot use on savvy?
*
not sure if it fits.
usually will write multiple model/brands on the box

anyway.. original is very cheap..
http://www.lelong.com.my/bosch-oil-filter-...7-03-Sale-P.htm

the part stated there is oz039 and looks like compatible with many many cars.

bosch part numbers according to lelong:
saga uses om038
viva o1009

Yes. Still lost to my smart forfour though but I love both cars. I've been hoarding parts for my smart since Day 1. Will do the same for Savvy.

so far 9 years of ownership, nothing breaks.
only speed sensor die, but can be resurrected.
