I went to the volume settings, adjust the slider to the left and then to max again (although the slider was at max before).
After this adjustment, all sound volume went back normal.
Can you try if this fix your sound problem?
There's a limit as to how detail images can be.
I notice noise improvement in high ISO usage. Also if you try to use manual ISO in manual mode, the liveview is smooth. No more laggy liveview.

I swap from Iphone 5 to xperia z1 recently.
android 4.3

but i find xperia's camera is just disappointing?somehow it's just not as focus/sharp as what Im used to and the reason why I got the phone is for the camera. I;ve turned of the soft skin and most of the time i use manual touch focus. but I couldn't be shaking that badly every single time. and image stabiliser is on and most photos are static such as food.

and the front camera is just terrible. lots of noise?

any solution to this guys/gals? thankS!

Did a quick photo test on the kit kat firmware



The above was taken with 8mp and 100% crop. Weird thing i found was the ISO 400 and 800 that I set, turned out to be ISO 640 and 1250 from the exif data. Weird but I will try shoot more on weekend to test.

yea..i want shoot something like that...bit bokeh at the background? iphone 5 was no problem. I know shouldnt be comparing iphone iphone all the time..

I prefer to touch focus so i can focus where i want..but even thought the focus box is where i touch.it  doesnt seem to focus as i hoped

If buy AP, is really depends on your luck whether you get a GOOD set or not. Warranty is another issue that you should worry.

If every purchase depends on luck, then there is no need for quality control anymore and no need to differentiate AP and original warranty+price, might as well sell at pasar malam. 

True. All phones goes through the same factory QC, it's only AP here in Malaysia because it's not meant to be in Malaysia

Try playing it with the Photo Sphere mode. I was testing it with my phone, and then something happen whenever there are only 3 or 4 shots left to take. I've been trying it for hours. Whenever it reaches the point where you only have to take 3 or 4 more shots left, it just sort of lag and not responding very well. It's like the gyroscope went wrong or something. In the end, you will get a few black patches here and there in your photo. I don't if it's just me or what.

Have you tried the Lens Blur feature as well? It's not really working too well for me, especially the part where it tells you to move your phone upwards or whatever. It will always tell you that, you are either moving too fast or it just can't blur out anything. Even when it does work, it blurs out pretty much everything. LOL!

To be honest, I'm not a very patient guy. I have uninstalled the app from my phone. LOL! I can hardly get a clear shot using the Lens Blur mode. In my phone, it will actually only blur out random parts of the photo. Sometimes, it will also blur out the part I selected to be focused on. I will just download it once again and give it a try when there's a more stable, upgraded and better version of it. Maybe I'm just not that good at taking photos with my phone, I don't know.

Then again, hate it we cannot use the physical shutter button on this camera

So it's is actually fine for the phone if the WiFi and Bluetooth are both switched on for almost all the time? It won't damage the battery? You will only get run out of juice faster?
