I'm still 50-50 of choosing Z1 and Z2.

1. Display is not an issue for me as i would love privacy; i don't want ppl to see what i'm doing from different angle.

2. Z2 is a little tall for me....quite awkward later on to put it in my hand.

3. Since Z1 is already 4.4.4, i believe the camera quality is as par as Z2 since they share same camera module.

4. Snapdragon 800 and Snapdragon 801 is just slightly different significantly in terms of maximum performance.

Z1 can be purchase from RM1300 (AP) compare to Z2 RM1800 (AP).

What's stopping me is that Z1 after being root, we don't loose the X-Reality and BRAVIA right?

What you said is true. But if given the budget, I'll still go for z2. Better screen, better stereo speaker, faster processor, better battery life....

Only advantage z1 has over z2 is somehow it felt more solid in hand. The aluminum frame in z2 felt more plastic... But this is just me la...

Root won't lose x reality or Bravia engine

previous SE phones have a selfie guide on the back camera. i only wish they put it on future phones too.

is there any method to root the latest fw? or have to downgrade to get root?

4.4.4 getting a very serious bugs now. I have mention all my Z1 sensors not working few days ago. Someone in FB group also having the same issue. Happen quite frequent now.

I gave up already on tempered glass sp.. too easy to crack. sakit mata oo looking at the cracks.

Guys,i took out my sim card n cannot be slot in again. Like something stucked inside.i went to service center before and they told me whatever sent to them, they will send to a shop in time square,but the name not sony service center, i forgot the name, anyone has any idea? Thanks.
