QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ May 1 2014, 02:30 AM) The price is dropping already since the announcement of Z2 Spigen case is nice and solid. But I find it too thick and make the phone looks bulky.I saw my friend's Nexus 5 spigen casing, it's really nice...too bad they don't have it for the Z1 Has anyone seen that casing before? Do you know of any nice alternatives? Kinda got bored with the nilkin one that I'm having now. |

QUOTE(badboy_lun @ May 2 2014, 08:58 PM) Hi for all z1 users here who are using the magnetic charging dock or the cable, anyone facing the problem of intermittent charging as well as the flashing of the orange LED, as you can listen to the charging sound plug in and out too, which is also intermittent. I had this problem where using the magnetic cable charges very slow. It is the cable problem. I use charging dock and another magnetic cable and is okIt does charge, but very slow. I have to use the USB charging now. This problem when charging is like hurting my phone |

found a suggestion to minimise the battery drain. those who had this problem is worth to try
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2740337 and for those who have any VOIP service app (especially Skype), it is advisable to uninstall it as Google had admitted there is a bug with 4.4.2 http://www.zdnet.com/kitkat-giving-you-bat...fix-7000027051/ http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/83866/20...kat-problem.htm http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-co...y-drain-1231198 This post has been edited by ckchan: May 5 2014, 01:38 PM |

QUOTE(JkzsBlog @ May 5 2014, 09:16 PM) I've saw that XDA thread earlier, I did whatever he stated and also uninstalled Skype. I have my phone on Stamina mode all of the time. Before this, I'll leave my phone 100% charged every night and go to sleep. It will only drop 1% the next morning I wake up. But ever since all these new updates, it will drop 1% in only like a few hours or so. If did say VOIP apps, with skype being the worst. So if you have other apps like viber or line... Can try uninstall them as well. As I did not install any of these apps, I can't really verify if it works out not. But seriously I feel my battery life is better than 4.3 thus far. My phone hanged twice so far. And both happens when exiting the ice age village game. Suspect the app problem...
