This is what i got after logged a complaint with KIA Global regarding the missing auto leveling module...

Dear valued Customer,
We appreciate your kind feedback and regret for the dissatisfaction caused to you by virtue of your complaint in relation to your Kia Cerato HID Xenon Headlamps with Auto Levelling device issue.

Based on our customer database updates, it is being confirmed that your Kia Cerato 2.0 model is a Completely-Knock-Down (CKD) production from Malaysia, registered on 19/12/2013 and not being equipped with Auto Levelling device for the HID head lamps. The function is only applicable for European market and not for Asian market.

However, we are unable to give any comments on the hard-copy brochure, official website and media coverage of the existence of the HID Xenon Headlamps with Auto Levelling device on your Kia Cerato distributed by our distributor, Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd as it is part of their Complete-Knock-Down (CKD) requirements and process to their domestic market. Our distributor reserves the right to discontinue or change the models, features, specifications, options, designs and prices of the products and some of the items herein are optional at extra cost due to the requirements and process.

All specifications and images of the vehicle in this booklet may vary from actual and are correct at the time of print. Naza Kia Malaysia reserves the right to amend the specifications in this booklet as when deemed necessary without prior notice.

The new Santa Fe also what. EU model comes with 7 airbags, CKD liao become 2.

Consumer rights in bolehland is like that liao lo...

It's when you have e.g. heavy luggage in the trunk. Your car will tend to point slightly upwards in front, hence most cars either have auto-leveling or a some scrolling knob to adjust the front headlights. Otherwise, you'll be blinding the cars in front.

How lar I am ready to buy this car already leh

no, when your kawan sit in the back too heavy then it'll auto adjust the headlamp level

Ford focus, Mazda 3, civic, Altis got this feature?

no.. the lamp will auto level when ascending or descending hill

most of the HID lamp 1 got ..but not all la

poeple who buy Naza rebadge or Kia deserves to be cheated.

next time any company also can say got A, then after that say no need give A because got fine print.

most of the naza car is "Semi CBU" which actually consider as CKD

except 1.6 is CKD not SBU

try and stop behind of the latest merc E-class with brakes on for 2 minutes... u will see after that

When yo mama sits in the back seat for example....the car tilts since it is back heavy, which makes the headlights point higher than usual right? Well this auto leveling bullsh*t corrects itself to the right angle/direction. "auto level", the phrase actually speaks for itself.

208 say got autocruise in brochure also but not equipped. so not the 1st time those lazy buggers did this

How do you find the handling? Find it a little lacking and doesn't accelerate as well as I hope so. Cabin also a little noisy. Why never consider ford focus

Nest time, read the spec and check your purchase carefully. A good job for Naza.

most ppl buy the car without properly reading the Boucher....only later felt cheated....is a way how seller throw their responsibility to consumers whose not properly check before buying it with their laws of right to reserve....

Just like how air asia do....they had the right to delay the flight....so whose ever want to do bisness here with no F given to consumers with the protected by right to reserve will untung besar...

Try that in Europe or other country....might get a law suit....

From first day launching already without the feature, but still highlighted in brochure and spec list. All the review for 2.0 Cerato also highlighted this feature.

I think KIA Malaysia really need to give an official statement on this.

EU market only. Then it never came to malaysia la? Y la put in malaysia website n brochures? Correct at the time of printing? That bullshit. If never came they shud have never printed n it has never been correct at any time. Did they amend the specs? No. It never meant to be here. So they never amend anything also. Main purpose is to mislead customer to buy n hope nobody realize

'Enthusiast' reviews on PaulTan and LiveLifeDrive also took it for granted la. What more to say end buyers? Pay so much $ think get so many features. Seriously, buyers wouldn't have doubted.
Hopefully that's the only one which slipped through!
