hi guys, i am pretty sure i got the worst 4770k, since i google n google, no people have the same case as me.
mostly the worst have at least 4.3@1.2v.

i still use stock cooler, just wanna test my cpu oc capabilitites.. please advise.
and can i consider this for rma?

another weird thing is it always stay at 3.9ghz even when idle (1% usage). i turn all auto the power saving feature alredi.

my ivy bridge 4.2ghz @ 1.2v is quite good already but 85 celcius with stock cooler.
If you want to bump up to 4.6ghz, you will need a 3rd party cooler, for instance noctua nh-d14.
With hyper 212 evo at 4.5ghz, 85-90 Celcius,
With noctua nh-d14 at 4.6ghz, 80-85 Celcius.
With noctua nh-d14 at 4.2ghz, max 60 celcius and below.

Set ur power consumption as balance in your computer.
This allows your CPU to idle at lower ghz, like mine is 1.6ghz at idle. and when load, bump to 4.6ghz
If you are overclocking via bios, make sure you are overclocking the Turbo Boost, not the base clock CPU ratio.
