guys, i got a problem with my FLX 1.3 auto which i will address to the SC when i take it for my next service.

I have this problem which is my car sometimes will fail to start. (when i turn my key it will stuck on ignition and would not startup)

and 1 weird thing is when this happen, my brake will jam and i cant seem to step it down completely.

and i need to stress that, it occurs very very randomly, previously the frequency of occurrence is increasing quite drastically. i tried to catch the pattern as to wat will cause it to fail to start but couldnt find a trend.

and worst things is, i only own this car for 7 months =.=
do mind you that even new almerra not even 1 month also got problem.
other already own this more then you and encouter many minor problem even got bog problem. so please stay calm.

Thank you for your reply, I asked this same question at persona group and 1 guy said if I add the fog lamp at the proton service centre and let the proton guy install it it won't void the warranty   

Different guy seems to have different opinion     

And is it important to keep the electrical wiring under warranty??      your reply will be kindly appreciated

FC i thk is not really a big issues since i'm not driving it everyday, the 1 i concern is can the 08 - 09 saga last another 5 years? which mean the total lifespan of saga can last until 9 to 10 years?

Nobody can guarantee how far GaGa can go. If only 3 years, my GaGa already 2 years gone when I bought her. So, I need to be extra careful on the wear & tear item. Cuma bayangkan what happened back in the old skol days.

Macam² ada. Those are the things that we send back for warranty when we bought the damn car. If you put it on our shoe today with the new GaGa, its exactly the same. Just different issues.

In my opinion, car is still made the way they used to be(low cost production, bad safety precautions). Like dares said, there is extra electronics popping everywhere in the modern vehicle, so you're expected to understand which are the REGULAR maintenance. Besides of normal engine oil/gear oil/brake fluid/clutch fluid/radiator, you have more things in concern now with modern vehicle. If you do not know, the DbW(and the backup sensor-not sure whether we have 1) system need to be recalibrate every 10k service according international road safety. I'm not sure whether this listed in Plotong henbook. Old cars doesn't have catcon, and GaGa's catcon will sumbat over the long run. Many more sensors in modern vehicle, and these things aren't surviving the hai heat over the long run, which need a replacement. I believe, regular checkups and maintenance for all these electronics will be as good as a blardy reliable old cars.

hi guys, my friend just bought a saga sv recently. he just went for first service today and cost him RM184.

i think he "kena makan" by the proton SC ppl. (laughs)

here is the content of his receipt:

x-1r treatment- 48 (<----this one i think he kena makan)

can anyone give some advice which one is actually optional?

im not laughing at his loses. its just funny when i see him rage after servicing his car, (he did not expect it to be so expensive, its his first car, so he know nothing about what needed servicing).

i only know little about cars, thats why i came here and ask you all sifu, so that i can at least ask him to pay attention on next service. (you see, im not that horrible a friend ok )

what is crank start??
when u turn the key ON and then turn to start to run the engine on.
my case is smtg similar to the bolded ones. is it my fault or smtg i did that caused no fuel supply or petrol over flow??
If it is not of my doing, wat can i do to resolve this problem?
it is your doing.
to solve this. first turn the key to ON. wait for the teeet sound (the sound of fuel pump working) then only start the car. if u fail for the first time, NEVER EVER turn the key OFF and then turn back ON. just release key, then after that turn the key ON. (later i explain)
