Hey girls!

I am now in my early 20s, finally got a well paying job, in good shape, good skin care, good life balance...but I can't be happy whenever I see my face in the mirror. I feel like my nose is too big, my face is too square, my eyes too clumped. I'm considering plastic surgery. Anybody have their faces done? Where? How was the surgery? How was the cost? Any feedback would be highly appreciated!

Mind putting up a picture of yourself? You might not look as bad as you think.

But, if you're going to go through with it, please exhaust all your options and check for good surgeons. Also, don't get too addicted...

I'd rather not. Had an ex bf of 5 years break up with me for another girl cuz "she's pretty." I mean, I'm making good money now, why not invest in a good face? Plenty of google searches point to korea. even singaporean forums are pointing to korea. but no mention from malaysian women.

a guy who is only after you for your looks is not a good man, also your ex didn't really love you hence he went for another girl.

just wear right, act right, and be happy with who you are and the man that you need would come.

I'm in Korea and it's not unusual to see ladies with patches of plaster and bandages walking the streets. I guess you can say it's part of their culture here, you can even do your surgery in the shopping centre~ literally go shop for a new nose.

My colleagues say that those in shopping centres are qualified doctors and surgeons but they advice to always look for those with a good reputation and larger clientele. Since the procedures for the surgery is fairly safe and simple and non-evasive most of the time they can operate in shopping centres so long as they meet the government standards for sanitary work environment. It's like going to a dentist in Malaysia!

If you do plan to come Korea just to do up your face it'll be good for you to do some research on what doctor could provide you with what you want, it's a little like choosing an artist for your portrait, no two artist interpretation of you would be exactly the same. But to come Korea just to do the surgery would cost you quite a lot in the sense that you'll have to stay here quite a while, depending on how much work you want done you have to go under the knife more than once with time in between different procedures. Overall it might not be worth it to fly here and stay a month (cost of living damn high unless you have friends or relatives who are willing to take you in). The plus side would be that no one would stare at you if you go out in the street with bandages on your face rolleyes.gif

i read that fillers are temporary and i can't imagine having to "touch up" every six months or so. also, does the nose fillers change big, droopy sized nose for the better? any complications? how many mls did you use? which doctor?

Hi there, I recommend you check out the soompi forums. They have a lot of threads dedicated to plastic surgery in Korea, with members sharing their experiences, and reviews about the clinic and the recovery process. If you like the doll like look, you should check out korean plastic surgeons. I heard that Thailand is not bad as well, and is cheaper than going to Korea for PS.

Here are the links so you can get better informed about plastic surgery and whether it is a road you want to undertake:

Double eyelid surgery: http://forums.soompi.com/discussion/68893/...-surgery-thread

Hi,

I agree with Kelly - why not try botox 1st to correct your square jaw and see how you feel after and if you still wanna go for surgery.

No need to go all the way to Korea though, there are some good clinics in KL that can do the procedures. My cousin had botox injections at Beverly Wilshire Medical Centre here and really recommends them.

I think you should send mail to the doctors. They would give you some information you want to know, including price you should spend. You can send mail to the doctor Chiu, he who is very professional at Fabulous clinic in Taiwan.

I am just like ts, salary is acceptable, now's the time to indulge a bit. Always tot that why not have something done to enhance my facial feature. I mean everyone want to look nice, cute, gorgeous, sweet and whatever. And I am always conscious of which part I needed to do, I mean we all know our own weakness right..

I had done threadlift with pdo on my face, this to lift a bit of sagging which is quite apparent - after all my job is stressful, dragging my appearance down I guess..haha - had about 150 threads inserted into my face, not too worried with side-effects tho, as the material will melt away in 3-5 years time, and it is a natural ingredient. After threadlift, I also notice my face to be sharper not as square as before!

Next, for the first time, I had my first filler done to my nose, I always wanted a slightly higher bridge and a sharper nose tip. Its done with fillers, and the doctor is using branded products, which kinda safer and peace of mind, to me at least.

Overall result is satisfying, I know that both procedures enhance my appearance. As I am not prepared for total make-over via plastic surg, I can live with maintaining this every 2-3 months. Furthermore, its more natural as it is closest to how I wanted to look like- I mean if its plastic - I would look like a doll, if not - why do it...

All done up at Premier Clinic, I must say, they are high-end, but I must admit that I like the ambience and a touch of class about their set-up. This is not advertising, but they are different from regular aesthetic I enquired before this. Finally, gave them a try as they are closes to my place in Bangsar, and another in Ttdi...

Overall, I would say, why not if you can afford it...I mean, if you wake up feeling good about yourself, I am sure you will be in a better mood to do whatever you like, in high spirit!

Cosmetic Surgery like Rhinoplasty had become very common and very safe now. My friend got her Rhinoplasty Surgery done in Taiwan. She is very happy with the final look and the results. The technique for Rhinoplasty Surgery is very advanced in Taiwan. She got her surgery from a company called Fabulous clinic.

Getting a plastic surgery could be a great thing or the worse mistake of your lifetime. The point is you should choose the surgeon carefully.
