good chances for us..but please gunners take this seriously..wigan just beat city and they can do the same to us..

I watched the game and TBH Wigan rode their luck.

City could easily have banged in 5 or 6 goals in the second half alone but miraculously Aguero, Dzeko and co squandered them all. And we are talking about really really clear cut chances.

Then again what happened to City today, off day in front of goal can happen to us as well.

But with all due respect la, based on what I've seen we should have no problems if we play our usual game.

Scoring the first goal will be key.

Not necessarily need to be 3-0, 3-1 and we will still go through on away goals

Seriously it's embarrassing. How come they didn't know Miyaichi can't feature in today's match? We came with only 6 subs lol. We really have a thin squad. laugh.gif And quite weak. sad.gif

Our bench is pretty decent actually. Flamini, gnabry and rosicky. Good enough backup for me IMO.

Btw something interesting just happened. Per has been given the armband despite Arteta and Vermaelen starting. Per our new captain?

Every time Bayern attack we are swamped with 4 or 5 attackers but every time we attack there is only 2 or 3 players. We are still a little far too cautious.

The commentators blind or what. Obviously Poldi got the yellow for kicking the ball away.

This is power football at its best. We have been severely outpaced and outmuscled whether it is on the flanks or in the middle of the park.

Santi has been so poor.

I am pleased by the performance. We gave Bayern a good run for their money.

Never thought I'd see an even more despicable diver than Drogba and Suarez.

Robben easily takes the cake.

On to Spurs now at the weekend.

proud with the team perform well defensively but not attacking wise
giroud is not the answer, ox is monster, kos and per world class partnership.

unbeaten at allianz arena 2 years in a row

TBF Giroud ran himself to the ground today. Had to work doubly hard considering service was scarce.

Looked super knackered and laboured towards the end of the game.

Hopefully he recovers in time for Spurs this weekend.

MOTM for me Fabianski!

Poldi for me with the OX a really really close second. Kos and Per were brilliant as well. Santi was poor in the first half but was much better in the second.

Overall it was a very good team performance IMO.

Despite the penalty save his kicks have been really poor today. So many times straight out the touchline.

Chill out guys, many positives from tonight.

1. The OX is maturing really well, will soon be able to give Theo a good run for his money.
2. Poldi, what a great performance. One of his best this season. His directness and power was there for all to see and he certainly gave Bayern a taste of their own medicine. Super finish.
3. Per and Kos, outstanding.

Negative, two words.

Mesut Ozil.

Arsene appears to be running thin on patience. And we all know what happens when Arsene doesn't trust his players anymore. With Poldi and the OX getting better and better and the impending return of Ramsey, he will no longer be automatic for that midfield spot sooner rather than later if he doesn't get his act together.
