I'm a light footer. But occasionally will pedal to metal until 180kmph. Can't get faster than 180kmph already this car

Yes non cfe variant gets better fc too

are you using stock proton sport rim or aftermarket? just found out that heavier sport rim can cause higher fuel consumption. in my case it's about 10% increase.

My rims all original stock

Agree with you.
My parents have a HRV too (non hybrid version) .
if I were to drive it, with mostly light foot and once in a while "zoom" acceleration, can get 12KM/L, with ECO mode on.
But for my mom, she drives less than 10KM, so yes, can get around 10-11KM/L. Eco Mode turned on.
Oh BTW , they are using 5w30 Honda engine oil, not 0w20. Thinner oil does make a difference.

I think those which claims to get 10KM/L, have really heavy foot, and turn off the ECO mode.

12km/l to me is not a lot. Understandable for a heavy b segment SUV but i think it is equivalent to a c segment sedan with 1.6 - 1.8l NA engine

Actually not only Honda have 0w20, they do have 5w30, but in Semi form.
Usually they will just put in 5w30 for HRV, unless one specify - "I prefer Fully" .

Long distance, have tried before.
If steady below 110 on the highway, the FC meter can go as high as 18-19Km/l , on a light foot.
And have to discipline oneself to stay on the left lane all the time
Yes, its possible.
For comparison - HRV is rated 1257 KG . Proton X50 is around 1325Kg, which is heavier but has a more powerful engine. Why is it heavier than HRV, not sure why. Maybe cause of the turbo and intercooler.
The heaviest is Toyota CHR with 1,385 KG. Yet its 1.8L also.

Since you talk about C segment cars
The Civic 1.8S version weighs the same as HRV - 1251KG.
While the Altis 1.8, is 1,365KG

Yes im just saying that those who bought b segment suv should not expect good fc out of it. B segment sedan / hatch is still better than an SUV.

Just my 2cent
