fc : MAX-rm40/200km(rm0.2/km), MIN-rm40/160km(rm0.25/km)
90% city driving..

dis car was passed to me by my bro..n he did some modification to the car..but dun reli noe wat modification he did..only knew the engine has been modificated to 4g92 dohc..when i start droving it i tot the fc was normal n i alwiz cruise below 3k rpm..but after i saw dis thread my car fc is lyk holyshyt!!so any1 with this kinda of engine oso experience this kinda of FC or izit only my car got problem dee??if got problem normally wat rasie the car FC??sorry i m a car dummy

b4 i forget to mention i m still a student so i tink its imposible for me to downgrade the engine cos my parents would definitely not agree..my bro upgrade the engine n i downgrade bac the engine my parentz sure say u tink i print money wan arr..lol

haha i have mentioned that i m a car dummy derefore i din even heard b4 this kinda of stuff..so if i wanna do it..wat would b the budget??

so how do i noe wat causes the high FC??send it to bengkel n hav a check??

err..i dunno izit MD or not..i juz open the bonnet n saw the engine dere written mivec 16 valve n my fren told me its a 4g92..thats all i knew about it..paisehh..




means that the FC for my 4g92 dohc is not normal??or any user of 4g92 dohc mind to share thier experience wit me??

yea i m sure that i have metered my consumption properly unless my meter not accurate la..everytime when i pump my fuel i will sure reset my meter..n that is y i m shocked when i saw this thread n knew that my car FC is totally higher.. aihz..my car very thirsty..

anyway i knew there is 1 switch bside the handbrake..the power n economy mode switch(shown in dashboard is H for economy n P for power mode..i hav no idea why economy is in H)..when my bro pass the car to me he told me to use the economy mode n he say the fc will b lower compared to the power mode..but few days ago..i brought my car go do servicing n the foreman told me that i shuld switch to power mode for lower FC cos when he say in economy mode theres no power n the H stand for HOLD mode..so u nid to pressure the gas pedal much more..n he say the HOLD mode is when u r goin uphill or downhill or something lidat..where ur speed is slow..n there's when the H mode FC will b lower than the P mode..but for highway n city driving its vice versa..i was lyk

p/s:one of the factor that make my FC so high is mayb i din do servicing for a long time liow..there's a sticker written there i shuld bring bac for servicing @ laz yr's september n i only brought it bac last few dayz..aihz my wrong so now i m still in the economy mode to c how the servicing improve my FC.. i will switch to power mode after my next re-fuel than to compare which FC mode is betta..hopefully it helps

wah how u noe its manual arr??haha yea its auto..auto n manual got diffrenc in FC wan??sorry i m a car dummy..haha but abit wasted rite mivec in auto..thats wat my frens alwiz said..
