3) Engine Oil Used: Honda Fully Synthetic SN 0W-20 (I service every 10k at Kah Motor Honda after 5 years warranty expired-I ask them to do and they ok-this model interval is 5k km which is waste of time since I need to go back to sc every 2 months, lol)
4) Fuel Consumption average: 10.46 km/l based on manual calculation (680km/65litre)
5) Driving Condition: 70% highways 30% city, No jammed
6) Average Speed/Max rpm: On highway 130km/h, (max:180km/h, low: 110km/h), city 80km/h
7) Latest mileage: 185k km
8) Modification: Soundproof on bonnet, and 4 door side panel (No performance mod)
9) Tank Size: RM143 at RM2.20 per liter (Car tank is 70 litre, but I consistently pump in 65 litre after yellow blinking came out)
10) Tire size: 225/50 R17
11) HP: 180PS 222NM K24 Engine. VTEC kick in yo. Lol.

Urs really jimat, Honda newer earth dreams engine really give more mileage per fuel tank. But ur tank size seems like much more smaller or u refill fuel b4 yellow light come out perhaps 🤔🤔.I drive jimat2 also can only get 12km/l, but meh, not feasible/practical for long term. Usual 2.4 accord I see, all pijak minyak on highway, me included. Hardly see people cruise relax2 sit on middle lane since this d segment car sedan is so damn stable at high speed. Lol.

I have owned quite a few cars from Japanese to Malaysian to Germans to Koreans. (mixed with tracking and calculations of family cars)

I know what kind of fuel consumption for a specific type of car.

Thats why I know if one is trying to pull a fast one.

Got drive accord b4? U know accord 2.4 8th gen usually around how many kilometre per litre?. Mine is above. Maybe average fc, but this car also very heavy (1530kg) which explain bad fc rclxub.gif

Older car use 0W-20? I tot it is for hybrid.
Wondering i can use it for my CRV 2.4 2014? As im using Honda Fully Synt 0W-30.

Dunno liao. I sent to service centre since day 1 and let them handle. Engine still ok, so should be fine.

I think no problem kot, maybe u can ask ur service advisor..u still sent at sc or outside..but, different engine grade. Maybe urs is newer engine la. That is why.

Accord 2.4 2015 from Kajang - Lumut. 2.5 hours drive, 430am to 7am.
Cruising along the way around 150-180kmh, 120kmh at trunks road.
Based meter shown 11.4km/l. Eco mode on 100%.

Petronas primax 95
Mileage 129k km.
EO - mobil 1 5w30 (green bottles)

Max 180kmh only?. No dare press more?..lel.

Got other smaller car faster than u onot?. Lel.

Thanks for sharing.
11.4km/l with such high speed is considered reasonable?
Mine CRV 2.4l 2014 is around 11km/l for 70% highway & 30%city (i'm a light footer).
How is the Mobil 1 5w30 green? Feel smooth and fuel efficient as advertised?
I'm in dilemma in choosing either Mobil 1 5w30 green or silver on this upcoming 1111 sales.

Newer earth dreams technology engine indeed very fuel saving. Me use previous gen cp2 not save much although same displacement.

Btw, dunno its pros and cons. Heavier car such as accord hard to drive slow on highway. No feel speed. Me always cruise at least 140kmh. Heard can get excellent fc if drive 110kmh, but seriously hard to cruise at 110kmh. Same goes to other heavy vehicle I believe.

I keep seeing ppl who drive saga blm mt get over 13~16km/L. How do you guys achieve that? I drive so lightfoot the most i can get is 9.75km/L doh.gif I upshift when I am 2k rpm and my speed is always at 80kmh still cannot pump the number over 10 sia  rclxub.gif

40% city 60% highway
*
I doubt saga can get 13 to 16km/L. its a farking old tenchnology. if u not believe, go see fuelly website. Its average is like 11km/L. Clearly someone tokok.

btw, u cant really compare exactly the fc. Yes, both of u might drive 100% at city. but one person need to face 10 traffic light, while another person need to face 0 traffic light. yes, both are 100% city drive, and due to this both cars fc will be different.

u already drive very economical. keep it up. nothing u can do anymore. road condition might not on ur side.

slow n steady... fast upshift at low rev... is wrong method

you are spending lots of time at lowish gears... and engine running at suboptimal conditions... both will cause bad mileage

you want to get to cruising speed asap... so if car 0-100 is 13s, try to do it in say 18-26s...but don't over-rev or red line. small cc engines are designed for higher rev. my 1.5 swift I rev to 3k for gear shifts...
*
I read the sweet spot for most engine is between 2k to 3k rpm. And I always shift gear in that zone. btw, on city really hard to measure fc, sometimes the main culprit is road and traffic which we cannot control.

Frequent brakes and accelerate: fuel wasting.

Ya it is really hard to believe they can get 13 to 16km/L, I even tried to cruise my car at 2k rpm at highway yet they are still the same.
*
People can talk without facts nia. If really can get 16km/L, try asking them how many km they travel with full tank of petrol..sometimes they plug the info from sky nia..

13 to 16km/L is like honda city fuel territory and the engine is 10 years newer. I know, I use saga b4. But no point argue with them. Ownself drive also know, the figure to good to be true.

the sweet spot is actually within the power band...between peak torque and peak power....say 4k to 7k... but we don't usually try to do century run ah from every traffic lights... hahaha

so the comfortable gear change ends up just before or around the peak torque rpm... old engine around 4-5k, modern around 3-4k... except rotary around 7-9k...

I enjoy driving...so I don't worry about fc... but since I know the "secret to good fc" , my fast launching and higher speed don't sap my fc too much... hahaha
*
I try shift above 3k rpm b4 for my car, the fc shot high up.lol. really depends on car maybe.

btw, I had experience various rpm shift. and Its quiet tiring process. btw, still for my car, its between 2k to 3k rpm.

Reset ur right leg & mentality

I got few friends who have mentality of CANNOT LOSE. lol.

So on highway, or at traffic light will full throttle try to win cars. lol. Always want to win no matter what.

Quite many also Malaysian drive like this.

I think If someone cannot improve their mentality, until eternity hard to get good fc.
