Btw how most of you measure your FC?
I always measure full tank to full tank divided by odometer reading used in between which is the more accurate way.
Using this method, the latest measurement for my car (Tyt Mark X 2.5ltr) can only get 10.4km/ltr (274.4km/26.5ltr) with smooth driving and not much jam with 80% highway where most of the time cruising around 100-130kph (only few times reach 140-150kph).

When comes to fuel consumption for the C segment (Petrol powered), Altis is really the leading class ahead in fuel consumption department.  smile.gif
There was once I was stucked in Jam, city drive and blast all the way at highways to Johor at 160km/h and the car still manage 12km/L+  biggrin.gif
Hmm I measure FC based on this method:

- Fill tank to full.
- Drive till half tank.
- Fill in full again.

Then measure the FC based on KM travel / Litres pumped.  smile.gif

For Mark X with mostly highway travel, is already quite good. If you drive gently at 80-90km/h, I believe you can score 12-14km/L.  rclxms.gif

Then the same like how I measure. But most of the time I measure after using up 90% of the tank (around 55ltrs) and the fuel light starts blinking. Only last weekend I tried a quick measurement after using only 26ltr since I want to avoid including the jams.

Nah, I don't think can get that good. I've been measuring for a few months now and can never break the 10.5km/ltr mark but again always got a period stuck in jams and never really patience enough to drive only at 80-90kph. I think it'll be lucky if can break into 11-12km/ltr and probably can only reach on highways with 80-90kph and very smooth on the gas without anybody else in the car, but I doubt can get more than 12. The factory spec sheet claims around 12.5km/ltr.
Btw my measurement above was achieved with about 70% of the journey carrying 4 people on board (including me).

Last measurement I can get 608km for 50ltr of RON95, or >12km/ltr combined city/highway with around total 1.5-2hrs of getting stuck in traffic jams during the measuring period (2 weeks).

Btw this is for 2008 Toyota Mark X 2.5ltr.

My best FC so far for Toyota Mark X 250G. The photo was taken immediately when the fuel bar dropped to half (so estimated around 34-36ltr consumed).

Continuation of my FC from the above posting, photo was taken just when the fuel warning light came on, even after getting stuck in the Wednesday horrible jam in KL! It came up to >12.5kms/ltr after I fill up. If without that hellish jam that day, it surely would have reached over 800kms, which equates to >13kms/ltr, still using RON95 btw.

Update:
Done quite a bit more mods like HKS GT2 turbo, Greddy cams and boost controller, 850cc injectors and 255lph fuel pump, water/methanol kit, piping kit, downsize to 17x9 lightweight rims, using Amsoil 0w40 oil.
On long distance now managed to reach 8.5km/ltr, city still about the same around 6km/ltr.

Only 376whp on Mustang dyno at conservative 1.4bar boost and just 33% methanol ratio on remapped stock ECU.

I wonder how much it can travel max for full tank? 400 km?
*
Yeah, if cruising 110-120kph smoothly on highway long distance can reach about 410-430km on 50ltr. If mixed city/highway like normal, my best was about 380km.

Hahaha never really measure, as long as I can match or beat AMG CLA/A45 then I am happy enough. Planning to swap to aftermarket ECU (either Link G4 or Haltech plugin) then can retune for more aggressive mapping, maybe ron100 w/ 50% meth ratio @ 1.7 bar, hopefully can reach 390-400whp. Wouldn't go more than that coz still stock internals.
