11.4km/l with such high speed is considered reasonable?
Mine CRV 2.4l 2014 is around 11km/l for 70% highway & 30%city (i'm a light footer).
How is the Mobil 1 5w30 green? Feel smooth and fuel efficient as advertised?
I'm in dilemma in choosing either Mobil 1 5w30 green or silver on this upcoming 1111 sales.

My Exora Turbo recently did a round trip KL-Kuantan.

Fuel: Shell RON 95
Mileage: 49K (year 2014) . Yes. 49K.
Engine Oil: Bosch X7 Premium 5w40 Full Syn.

Only did 10.1L/100kM or 9.9KM/L - Total round trip average
Condition: Highway + travelling some trunk roads in Kuantan + traffic jam back in KL
If I speed continuously 140 the meter shows around 9.4L/100KM (10.6KM/L).

And no, Exora doesn't have ECO mode. To drive ECO, have to drive not more than 100. And thats something difficult to do.

Campro can use 5w-30.
5w-20 is also stated as usable in the manual... if you live somewhere very, very cold.

Is it ok still using 0w-20 since your mileage already hit 150K?

Update:
Done quite a bit more mods like HKS GT2 turbo, Greddy cams and boost controller, 850cc injectors and 255lph fuel pump, water/methanol kit, piping kit, downsize to 17x9 lightweight rims, using Amsoil 0w40 oil.
On long distance now managed to reach 8.5km/ltr, city still about the same around 6km/ltr.

you're complicating the issue.... constant 140 will use more gas than constant 100... for sure

and erratic driving style will hurt fc...as you know

can using thinner oil than recommended cause engine be less efficient? usually i leave my engine oil selection to my mechanic, i don't remember which viscosity he use but he always use the cheapest option so i'm pretty sure he use 20w50 mineral. this time i change myself to 10w40, there seems to be a bit of increase in FC.

many many years ago I tracked my fc, including gas stations, over 5-year period... had a big spreadsheet n charts too... lol

I found petronas gave the most consistent fc...and easily amongst the top 3

also fc fluctuates about the same time with all stations... like high tide low tide... all stations affected together... so if petronas is bad by x%... shell is also bad by x%... strange can't figure this out

also different cars gave a different overall "best" petrol station... Wira best on Caltex, Accord best on Shell, Altis best on Petronas, etc...

nowadays no more tracking and not too bothered which station liao... hahaha

Got manual calculation result today, turns out to be around 8L/100km while the fuel consumption showed by the meter lowered by 0.1L now at 8.6L/100Km. Persona 2007 1.6 Auto, city drive average speed at 60km/h.

The meter have a known issue, always to trigger check engine light whenever going faster than 110km/h or revving past 3000RPM.

are you using the same tire and rim size as per the car specification? i'm thinking that maybe my inaccurate meter readings was caused by using a slightly smaller tire size. should use 195/60/15, but currently i use 195/55/15

fuel meter and check engine are 2 separate items, usually.
Usually if your check engine light lights up last 3000rpm it's usually a sign of oxygen sensor faulty or spark plug worn out /misfiring, causing the sensor to detect higher levels of unburned petrol.
Had that issue with ex Wira 1.3GLI and spark plug was the cause of check engine suddenly comes on.

Looking at all the figures, almost impossible for me to get close to all the numbers shared here lol.

Sound just like my friend with Camry Hybrid.
I mean - a Hybrid is meant to save fuel right?
But the way he drives with me on board - Its impressive how the engine and hybrid system still survives after 175k of hard driving. Toyota quality.

On the highway..minimum 130. Max out 170. Sometimes he will even floor it all the way , with the Power meter going to the extreme end of the meter

And when he wanna slow down, instead of braking early, he downshift to B even at 110. Very frequently.

I drove his Hybrid and yes I can say - The power is impressive. Instant torque. Very willing engine.

FC? I saw his average FC meter showing about 10.x km/L before a long distance drive. Best record only 14km/L.
I guess he doesn't know how to do regenerative braking. Hard braking yes.
Which is why his Fc is considered bad - But he ain't complaining because he can afford the fuel.
