QUOTE(xxdesire @ Mar 7 2014, 11:00 PM) There is no definite answer. We can recommend you kernels and you test it out for your usage. Agreed. Been switch around above mentioned kernels. All seems to have similar result on my N5. Most likely had to give them some more time to further optimized.A lot here on: ElementalX Me and a few here on: Faux kernel Some on: Franco Some etc etc. Currently stick to elementalx because it has aroma installer option. Save me trouble to setup s2w/s2s, UV, color profile, temp limit etc, which normally need one or more apps to configure. |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Mar 8 2014, 12:42 AM) Guys you know a funny thing? Radio signal does affect battery life. In area with weaker signal, your phone will bump up receiver power in order to amplify signal. My sister got her nexus at the same time as me. We bought from the same place, same colour (red), my wife is also using the same phone Battery life for me and wife = sot 2.5-3hrs+, total about 15 hrs ,sometimes less My sister who lives in Singapore, gets 4hrs to 5 hrs of sot on a daily basis with 15 to 16 hours total So the poor bbattery life must be due to our signal!!! Coz last time on note 2, mine lasts one day. Hers lasts 2 full days! |

QUOTE(55+ @ Mar 8 2014, 11:45 PM) Just got Nexus 5 16G from LYat coming from Nokia 920. Surprise that the wireless charger for Nokia can charge the Nexus 5. How much from LowYat ?Can the wireless charging damage the phone? Nokia charger is Qi-compatible, same as Nexus 5, so it's compatible. QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Mar 9 2014, 12:09 AM) Wireless charging might be hotter than typical charging methods. It might reduce your battery's lifespan The slight increase heat can be neglect unless you had famous overheat issue on Tylt. |

QUOTE(chinti @ Mar 9 2014, 12:23 PM) apple do that to my iphone last time so i was wondering does other company do tht as well and google around. found a few thread ppl stated google send them refurbished device. i still gonna email them to confirm. so if its refurbished device, isit worth RMA or kp my current device tht is not pushing notification on wifi? Remind me of my friend's iPhone4 from Maxis, replaced for 7 times, each time different issue. Last time we bunch of teckies accompany him, check the serial number and it was refurbished unit. Argued with manager, he insist it's new unit. Friend attempt to login his apple ID, guess what, there's another person's apple ID there. Goes back, we blasted the manager. He replaced it with one still wrapped, check serial number, it's still refurbished. Then we realized, Apple put Malaysian market as 3rd world market. |

QUOTE(apendots @ Mar 10 2014, 02:06 AM) I'm now with 0.32 and using slimkat rom. Before this i use 0.26. On 0.32 also, running PA 4.1 beta. My SOT same on 0.26 but music listening improve a lot. Listen for hours but battery drain as in idle.Didn't see much difference between this two. I don't know if other people felt the same like me or not. |

QUOTE(pokgaizai @ Mar 12 2014, 09:19 PM) When i play game phone still hot, is under clock cpu / undervolt helps? if yes how to do it. Currently slimkat 3.6 elementalx 0.32. Underclock helps reduce heat, but beware if underclock will affect your game performance or not. ElementalX could setup during installation. |

Received my vinyls skin for Nexus 5, not so good quality. The skin was quite thin ( felt like sticker ) and not so premium in both touch and looks. Well it was cheap in price, AUD $3 ( ~ RM9 ) from eBay for 2 pieces of full body cover.
Gonna get dband's custom skin option once available. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
