Why split into PCI-E/AGP..how about PCI?

The whole reason for a listing is to compare dongs wat right....so doesn't matter lar...satu long list cukup lar..lets say Top 100...

Can still brag about the top scores for sayyy.... a Ti-4200 or something like that.

But AGP seem waiting time for its death. It getting nearer. And there is not much new card there. Perhaps RoJak-kan them all.

Haiz hard to suggest... do wut easy for u mods or remain current method...

i suggest we maintain the current style, i mean the category one

1) high end

2) mid end

3) low end

and better use price range. like rm1000 and over for high end, rm500-1000 for mid end, and below rm500 for low end.
that is more realistic since most of card has almost equal price. for eg: x1900xtx rm2.2k, 7900gtx rm2k.. 7900gt rm1.1k, x1800xt rm1.3k,

if based on pipeline, there'll be more confusion. x1900xtx is 16x or 48x ? hehe then 7900gtx is only 24x.

and increase the limit to 30. for me, 20 is so few, compared with soo many cards out there.. and better put brand of the cards, and cooling use.
so it can help people who wanna buy new cards.
so they wont ask, which 7900gtx is better, XFX or Winfast

and lastly, maintain the SLI (or quadSLI) and crossfire section.


then how about 7950gx2? issit consider under SLI or single card? well since it is physically dual card, then let's put it under SLI category..

i vote for em' to be classed into pipelines..

Pipelines/Bit would be better i think. Prices are not that suitable imho.

dont u think pipelines will make people confuse? nowadays are not like last time, got sikit sahaja pipeline, either 4, 8 or 12..now so many.. then if 7900gtx 24x and x1900xtx 48x, both can be put under high end? it's almost double lor

x1900xt dont have x48 pipelines la boss. it has onli x16 pipelines wif x3 pixel shader on each of it single pipe

No wanting to drag this issue too long... I'll go for our third option. Seems that XS forum is using a kinda similar style, so it should be okay for everyone.

Besides, the database is no more limited to Top20, so everybody will have the chance of posting their screenies. Some rules and requirements will be revised as well, so stay tuned.

The old ranking threads will be archived. For now.... they're still open for discussions.

UPDATE:

Need volunteers for 3Dmark03, 3Dmark05 and 3DMark06. Need guys that have the time and some commitment for updating the thread.

Pattern of database will follow the same style as 3DMark2001SE database which has been opened recently.
