Hey guys.. have some question here  rclxub.gif

Just checked the grade policy stating that to get a first class degree means getting 4.0 CGPA. Does this mean that I have to constantly get HDs and cannot miss a single one? That would be tough huh  shocking.gif  shocking.gif

Btw, I'm taking Business and commerce (1st year)  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Don't be confused, the basic Business and Commerce degree does not award honours. You will require an additional fourth year upon completion of your degree. Refer to Australian degree grading systems.

Only way for a CGPA of 4.0 in Monash is straight HDs. Don't think even the top student in my cohort achieved that. Focus on getting a good WAM smile.gif

Hi guys,

Im finishing my diploma and intending to take a double degree in business & communication next year in monash.

my question is, is it advisable to take a double degree? I wanna know about the work load and is it like going on a suicide mission? I dont seem to find anyone who took a double degree

also if i were to apply to get a scholarship from monash MY, and then lets just say I wanna transfer over to monash AUS is it possible?

thanks!

not advisable, better to take a bachelors n postgrad later.. nope, as i think you would be needing 4 years.. is it even offered? my sis did double major, not double degree

yes, it is possible, but you would lose the scholarship.. my friend who lost his msia scholarship eventually got it back in aus because he was good

Is anyone here taking double degree in biotechnology and medical bioscience?

I'm curious as to the amount of workload and general difficulty of the course.

just to add, the 4th year is the honours year where you learn about research methodologies and conclude the year with a publication of a thesis.

entry into the honours year is usually by invitation only though, depending on how well you do in your 3 year undergrad degree
