hey guys, any comments on using mac laptop in uni? will it bring inconvenience or mac is quite widely used?

Might be taking Engineering at Monash. So any advice from you guys that have done ECS or Mechatronics Engineering over there? Are the assignments and challenges hard? Or should I just go for Computer Science instead? Am currently doing Maths and Physics as well as ICT at MUFY in Sunway College, doing fairly well for both.

Yeah, I know. CS is like my secondary option in case Engineering is too hard for me and I decide to drop out. Hahaha

it should be better than engineering right?

I have interest in computer related field as well as problem solving. But Engineering will most likely be the main goal as the job scope will be wider after graduation.

What is the difference between the Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelors of Business and Commerce at Monash.

Why is the entry requirement 12 compared to 7 ( Which is significantly different)

And i understand that Bachelors of Commerce will be last for this years july intake.

Can someone give me a clear understanding of the difference and which is better. Both gives the exemptions of 9 paper for ACCA.

If im taking single major, 3 years. Double, 4 years. Both route includes exchange.

Theoratically its possible, since when you do exchanges you can get your credits recognised, provided you are rich good enough to mix and match around.

first of all you wont have the support of the student services there... a lot of opportunities are non existent as compared to the main campus... campus facilities and communities are different too..

career placement, internship opportunities, business incubators, counselling... etc etc

In Monash, I see that there are a lot of opportunities to study abroad and I think it is great. I wonder how many semesters you can hope to spend abroad either using the Global Intercampus Program or the International Exchange options during your 3 bachelors years (or 4 for the double bachelor)?
Is it easy to get accepted?
