Nope, its not true  ..if he based on Owner Manual, then its not true, he just making that up, U need to change spark plug and air filter every 6000km and coolant every 3 years. 

But all is up to u actually..u can check spark plug n air filter if ok, then just use it.

For spark plug u can check if this condition (wet carbon deposits, electrodes or broken) meet then u should change (only rm7-9), if still ok..just use it.

For air filter (if dirty or clogged) u can spray with air gun if u dont want to change it.

For coolant u start  the engine, let it warm up for several minutes and then turn off, wait for few minutes until it settle then u can check coolant level at reservoir (stand the vehicle on a level surface), coolant level should be between the min and max level, below min level just add in coolant until max level.
If can just buy coolant at shop, dont use water, from what i know if adding water instead coolant lowers the antifreeze content in the coolant itself.

For my bike, i already use it till 60k and never check plug, never spray air filter, never topup coolant and never change those things, but u better check all these things if you want your bike in peek condition.

Are you currently using stock tyre? Bcoz I've heard sveral case like you. And yes it is bcoz langgar lubang. I recommend you to change the tyre asap as the internal part of tyre is not safe anymore.

As for solution, avoid lubang or upgrade your tyre size for better handling, like from 70/90 change to 80/90.

I did my kapchai tyre balancing as I cruise along highway to work. It does feel better for handling. Less vibration. 

never had that problem before. replace your tyre immediately. the casing koyak ady. tyre balancing, not normally done since not riding at high speed. but no harm doing it

Now RM 450-480. Sendiri pasang. Kedai pasang RM 30 - RM 50.
Sebelum ni pakai racing boy m2 line 5 tahun. Oil seal pecah lepas 5 tahun.

S2 line - adjustable rebound and spring
Db2 line - adjustable rebound, compression and spring
S2 line lagi baik dari m2 line. S2 line pon ok, harga dalam RM 250- RM 280. Beza dengan db2 line cume adjustable compression dari soft ke hard ade 30 click. Rebound pulak ada 40 click dari soft ke hard. Bile da dapat set yg sesuai, selalunya tak usik dah. Kalau set paling keras buat sakit badan je.

Servis, change oil and oil seal for 2 fork RM 60.

i use whatever the shop had, which was motul. not sure semi or fully, but used heavier oil than standard to make it firmer.

i honestly don't remember how much it was. pretty sure it was more than that. never heard of apido.

Apido is normal fork oil only.

Mine get around rm130 with Motul 20w fork oil, a set of original yamaha oil seal and dust seal for both fork in shah alam. Maybe can get cheaper at others bengkel and with cheaper oil. Oh ya if can, go for 15w with a lil bit more oil than stock. Or go 20w with stock oil quantity (i forgot how much ml is stock in service manual).

Stock bike uses 10w as stated in service manual, yet too soft for me. 20w must careful if lebih fork terlampau keras 🤦‍♂️

kayaba standard also very good, unless you get a spoiled unit.
last time test new LC135, side by side, same batch different rebound, pepah corner sure very different.
nak elok, at least kena tune rebound dan preload.

expensive not good enough if dunno how to perceive feedback and tune the mono.
for me, front is more important. in corner, load the weight on the seat, shoulder and arm relaxed, throttle and brake at the same time...
