stupid Citibank.

I didn't pay the AF and I called the CS after it appeared in the statement.

I don't want to pay the AF and I asked if I can continue for cancellation without even have to pay for it. They said can.

u lucky, I need to stay, becos my cash back is rm 45.xx ...
if I cancel, my cash back all gone~
and they charge me rm 50 gov tax d...
really damn...

now wan call to cancel this stupid card.
worst card I have so far.
*
I have paid for the GST last month because I can't accumulate or meet for the RM 50 rebate in block.

Therefore, I pumped all my expenses after that to ensure that it passes RM 50 this month till AF is charged.

It's a good card to have as a backup but not as the primary card at least the petrol category rebate is guaranteed (not like UOB ONE).

AF also no need to pay by cancel card?
*
YES.

AF is under banks jurisdiction. GST is under government/MOF/BNM jurisdiction. To waiver AF, it depends on the bank policy and affordability.

Anyone using citi cashback platinum? Just receive my statement and they charge me the annual fees(rm195). After call in to ask for waiver, they still not willing to waive it. If cancel the card then no need to pay for the annual fees but still need to pay for the gst. Anyone face this before?
*
As I have shared, my GST was charged in August 2014 and I have paid it.

AF was charged in September 2014 and I don't intend to pay for it which I requested for cancellation.

Just detected a fraudulent transaction with my card. Saw the SMS that I'm being charged twice in AUD amount. Immediately call Citibank and they cancel my card. Will reissue a new one

The replacement will come with different card number? Or just different CCV/CVV security number?

hi, fly126 is citi cash back plant have the limit of RM50 cash back per mth same as UOB one plant? TQ hmm.gif
*
Its limit is defined within each category like UOB ONE.

However, the combined limit for all categories for a month can exceed RM 50.

Also do note that cash rebate needs to be credited back with a min amount of RM 50. If that particular month, the accumulated rebate is < RM 50. It'll bring forward to the next month.

Yes. I mentioned in my previous post. So it is not worth holding the cards which collect points except you are a frequent traveller and you need air mile conversion or PPL. It is better to use cards that have 1% cash back eg hong leong card.

They just revised it to 0.2% starting August 3rd, 2015:
