I am using original cable. I have used my htc cable to charge before but only recently tried to use htc cable to sync. but same. still can't detect.

I finally took the plunge and signed up for developer preview. was hoping it could solve my connectivity problem. But did not.

But I have to say I'm really like the updates.. the extra tile, the swipe keyboard. but my phone now heats up for no apparent reason. and I noticed they got rid of background tasks? So how do we disable an app working in the background now?

So far all the apps work fine for me, though i've noticed all the Games added to the programs list now and not placed in the games folder. (prefered it like that, now my list is just too long)

mine says region doesn't allow cortana. and I've already set US and all that..

Well, my pc/pc's still wont detect my phone. Wonder if send to care centre they can resolve. But im currently on developer preview. Will it cost a lot? Amyne know where i can find kit to open my phone?

can your phone connect to your pc so that u are able to back up your data? if yes be glad.. mine can't..

I'm not sure actually. I only know that was facebooks answer when questioned about the pictures uploaded to the site. some time last year.

way too many fails now.. can't update to DP GDR1. yellow screen. can't connect to anything via usb.. what other known faults are there again?

I don't have dp update 1.. getting errors like many others.

Don't tell me we really have to go back to 8.0 to get cyan.

hey, for those of you with WP8.1 DP. IF you reset your phone from settings, will it revert to Lumia Black or remain as DP?

I want to use nokia recovery. but I can't. oh well..
