I dont advice ppl to get things i never touched/tested and only things that i have. I test extensively. Insane actually even to the point of getting custom bioses for my rams. Some even open bios. This jokers are advising ppl. laughable. but seriously it happens every year. new person, new posters etc.. all suddenly light got a epiphany and start advising people on how to spend their dough.

My advice is always spend on good casing and psu first and then build ure rig. Second try to always seek reference GC's.

thats what forums is dude. Ppl to feel good about their purchases and convince others that theirs is right.
think here is bad.. sishh u should see OCN....but normally dispute is settle via competition green vs red team...

to me buy what u can afford. dont b**** about stuff u cant. Ferraris are nice, fast, but to those who never sat one or had one or know ppl who do.. most of them sit in workshops/garages most of the time of the year.

titan Z. I would love to get that if i go sff build. It will be a awesome rig. Its about a performance u get from a single card. Thats the price hence its the cost. I dont see anybody b****ing to volvo recently why their car recently at price levels of a merc less than bmw yet u get most of their tech features with a ford....

Look at those guys in the recommendation thread. All kids who took Ptpn loan, parents money and god knows from where to buy their rigs.

Just see the 8800gtx above. Lol they were like in standard 6 or just started highschool so how will they know. Another lesson in life assumption is mother of all farkups. A lot of reviewers last time especially was full of payola and results were always skewed.

Dude i dont know how to build low end systems and get bang for the money on it. Seriously
But i think system builders like idealtech, cycom etc are in better position to advice. Y cause important factor here will be failure rate, rma, distro issues etc.. they will know which system least likely to have issues.

My advice from years of building and doing for some friends is just that 2
1. Dont skimp on PSU and get a good casing (airflow, especially airflow on HDD and cable management)
- I totally trust in corsair PSUs on the HX/AX/TxM and now Lately RM series. Not sure on the lower end. But so far these are good.
- Seasonic i dont trust any oem makes who does consumer product on the sideline. So many times screwed over when they discard that side of their business.

2. Reference Cooler. Rma rate on reference coolers are less and they are blower types and dont heat up inside the case.
- again its been some time i ventured to lower end of the cards so not sure how they do in this aspect.

Y i tell u guys keep in mind when advising people how to build rigs and etc (skimping on PSU)
some people listen and build according to those spec u recommended cause they assumed u really know the hardware
instead of being a google champion quoter.

A lot of reviews out there are skewed. I only trust hardwarecanucks and anandtech and that also to a certain degree as they are getting
test samples that out perform any retail samples every god damn time.

Somebody been shopping in czone too often. But look at their point. They stock everything including the highend. They employ a lot of sales people.
They open up in good location etc.. so somebody has to pay for this. They have a very good rep in rma, support etc with the distros even up to principle level.

If u want to post hypothetical suggestion of what u think is better. Post the link of the review that suggest that.Dont post it off as u know what that hardware can do. People who ask recommendation itself are just lazy and kindda stupid in some sense cause a little bit of googling and time they can come up with their own spec based on the budget. Its not a niche market for asking a recommendation.

Recommendation thread was started because to many lazy lowyation started personal threads asking. Its to pile them there to mix around with naive "recommends"

U are assuming people there actually check on distro reliability, batch issues, RMA time frame etc. How are they going to check. These are just kids who dont know a single person in the industry. In that case seriously system builders like Idealtech, cycom are totally recommended. Because u really need distro reliability on low end stuff. They tend to have a higher rma rate.

Btw up to u guys.I have been here long enough and still here to have seen this cycle. Either ignore it or b**** about me being right later on in ure hardware cycle.
