Haha. Good question there. I was actually really worried about this factor b4 deciding on buying this case. I did lotsa reading on the A8N32SLi n there r many users who haf it in V Series cases n also the Stacker 830 using the upside down format. There r sum reports of the mobo overheating but it's a minority, probably caused by bad batch. Most ppl din haf probs with it upside down. I also did a lot of reading on modern heatpipe tech. New heatpipe tech allows it to work in all directions.

Anyway, from my own experience now, no probs at all.

Truth be told, I'm procrastinating with the completion of the G5 casemod...

On one hand, it would be tempting to start over with a Conroe/DDR2/n7950 configuration. Have some ideas on how to stealth the PSU too.

But....

It's a matter of time before Apple completes the Intel switch by releasing the desktop line of Macs and you can bet that it will be based on the Core2Duo processor. With Bootcamp and the ability to dual boot MacOS and Windows: perhaps that's the rig to lust after?
