rm160 ASW2020 units is already good, I failed to get any at PM today (went there for pos laju thingy).
one thing I observed today, almost everyone is holding Blue ASB passbook with the red withdrawal slip

Why don't u consider variable pricing fund like ASN3 or ASG. The units are availabe now & don't need to "try luck" like Fixed Pricing fund.

I'm suggesting it because u don't have any account for the fixed pricing fund, & based on others forummer experiences, we all know how "helpful" the staff are..

heard some news from little birdy that upcoming budget got some "good news" for all of us.
maybe ASM2?

a friend who heard some "info" from his friend. if true, I'm happy. if not, well I juz try my luck using my current passbook

I observed that ASNB are trying to promo kaw2 the variable pricing fund to non-bumi & ASB2 for bumi.

PNB announces 6.60 sen dividend for ASW 2020

The income distribution this year involves a payment of RM1.115 billion, a 5.8 per cent improvement when compared to the previous year's total payment of RM1.053 billion.

The payment is expected to benefit 891,446 unit holders who subscribed to 16.892 billion ASW units.

As of Aug 18, 2014, the ASW 2020 fund had gross income of RM1.329 billion.

The profit from the sales of shares in companies contributed RM648.7 million or 48.8 per cent of the gross income. Dividend income from investments in companies contributed RM460.02 million or 34.6 per cent, while RM21‎9.81 million or 16.6 per cent, was through investments in short term instruments and other sources of income

hoping for min 10% divvy money withdrawal

1% not enuf coz a lot of people would be trying their luck be prepared to be disappointed if not enuf units available

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa ASNB telah membuat pengumuman pengagihan pendapatan Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020) bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 31/08/2014 dengan jumlah pengagihan pendapatan sebanyak 6.60 sen seunit.

Semua urusniaga akan ditangguhkan mulai 26/08/2014 sehingga 01/09/2014.

Selaras dengan penguatkuasaan Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010, kemaskini buku pelaburan hanya dibernarkan kepada pemegang unit/penjaga berdaftar sahaja. Penyata pengagihan pendapatan serta laporan tahunan akan dihantar mulai pertengahan bulan Oktober 2014.

p/s: my gut feeling say tis time "competition" could be fierce

do u have the ASM passbook? If got, a bit easier to deposit @ topup. New account opening very hard because most of the staff won't do for u. The best time is on 1st April when dividend is credited into unitholders account. People would withdraw the dividend money.

ASW 2020 suspension of transactions: 26 August to 1 September 2014

Today last day to withdraw your ASW2020 money. Still can do at Pos Malaysia now, but banks already closed

Anyway No units for me even after "trying" for few times (thanks to the helpful mbb staff)

ASNB is promoting ASB2 like nobody's business. No wonder they managed to achieve 1billion mark within 4 months

So Today I happen to see tis ad at ASNB FB page, so I just copy & paste here

yup, it's quite good achievement considering a lot of bumi are having "wait & see" mentality

u can try your luck but no guarantee the staff would help u.

because a lot of people tried to persuade the staff to open new account but all failed except 1 forummer. even after he managed to persuade the staff to open new account at ASNB branch, there's no unit available.

so in the end, the passbook need to be disposed off. u cannot have zero amount in your account/passbook

why not u invest in ASN3 or ASG. it's still available for all
