is it unlimited? i was told that it's capped at RM1 mil. any bonus + dividends after that will only be paid to the investor by cheque instead of being credited into the ASB account.
Really? ASN, ASN2, ASN3, ASG, ASB, ASW2020, ASM, ASD, AS1M, AMANAH SAHAM NASIONAL BERHAD V5

QUOTE(plumberly @ Aug 19 2014, 02:35 PM) Went to pick up my son's IC and went to the PM around that area. rm160 ASW2020 units is already good, I failed to get any at PM today (went there for pos laju thingy).Good news, managed to get some ASW. BUT only RM160! Ha. Don't know whether this is the front end school of fish coming in and tail end school of fish leaving. Ha. The PM staff was very helpful with her many tries. One question preparing for the ASW div day. Understand that to open a new ASW ac, they need to prepare the passbook and then try to see if there is any free RM100 unit available. If no unit, then they will cancel the account and cut the pass book into 2. Right? Is it possible to keep the passbook and then try again (say 30-60 mins later at the same place) to see if there is any unit available? I guess it is up to the staff. Cheerio. one thing I observed today, almost everyone is holding Blue ASB passbook with the red withdrawal slip |

QUOTE(X_hunter @ Aug 19 2014, 10:52 AM) Hi guys. Need your opinions urgently. I don't have any ASNB account yet but I would like to try to open ASM, AS1M or ASW. If lucky, maybe I can get some units. But do you think I should put as much money as possible into this ASNB or putting it into FD or half half? This ASNB is low risk right? What do you guys think? Let say amount is around 20K-25K. QUOTE(X_hunter @ Aug 19 2014, 11:21 AM) Actually I'm referring to ASM, AS1M and ASW. Why don't u consider variable pricing fund like ASN3 or ASG. The units are availabe now & don't need to "try luck" like Fixed Pricing fund.I'm a non bumi btw. I know the dividend pay out is on 1st sept. So there will be very low chances for me to get any units since it's just 2 weeks away. But my FD just matured yesterday and i don't know where to put my money in now. Although it's not a lot but hope I can get as much interest as possible from it. I'm suggesting it because u don't have any account for the fixed pricing fund, & based on others forummer experiences, we all know how "helpful" the staff are.. |

QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ Aug 20 2014, 12:14 AM) Firstly, who's little birdy ? a friend who heard some "info" from his friend. if true, I'm happy. if not, well I juz try my luck using my current passbook Secondly, if ASM 2 comes out, its definitely going to be a dream come true. Wouldn't mind buying you a cup of starbuck I observed that ASNB are trying to promo kaw2 the variable pricing fund to non-bumi & ASB2 for bumi. |

QUOTE(hlyh1230 @ Aug 23 2014, 03:28 PM) hi, i finally plan to make a move by buying asm for the first time. am i too late? do u have the ASM passbook? If got, a bit easier to deposit @ topup. New account opening very hard because most of the staff won't do for u. The best time is on 1st April when dividend is credited into unitholders account. People would withdraw the dividend money. coz i wanna know when can i buy them@@ ![]() This post has been edited by davinz18: Aug 23 2014, 08:24 PM |

QUOTE(cheahcw2003 @ Aug 25 2014, 12:14 AM) the distance relatives that i mentioned is > 70 years old, he rather take 6.6% stable return and sleep well just as i thought, the relative is under "retiree group".. than take the risk of investing in Equity funds. Anyway good for him p/s: I'm more curious how frequent he visit the banks/ASNB/PM This post has been edited by davinz18: Aug 25 2014, 12:40 AM |

QUOTE(hyelbaine @ Aug 26 2014, 05:00 PM) Wow, where did you get this? I went to their website and didn't find it. I have watched the music video featuring those 2 people, not bad and quite catchy actually how they changed the original song Kalau Aku Kaya to Kalau Nak Berjaya Actually I always see tis ad in Malay language newspaper. Lazy to take pict & post here Assuming that's 25 working days a month, 1 billion in 4 months means that's about 10 million a day So Today I happen to see tis ad at ASNB FB page, so I just copy & paste here yup, it's quite good achievement considering a lot of bumi are having "wait & see" mentality This post has been edited by davinz18: Aug 26 2014, 05:13 PM |

QUOTE(hlyh1230 @ Aug 26 2014, 11:11 PM) i dont have any passbooks yet. does that mean i hv to wait till next year? u can try your luck but no guarantee the staff would help u. owh no~! really cant open up account at post office at this moment? because a lot of people tried to persuade the staff to open new account but all failed except 1 forummer. even after he managed to persuade the staff to open new account at ASNB branch, there's no unit available. so in the end, the passbook need to be disposed off. u cannot have zero amount in your account/passbook why not u invest in ASN3 or ASG. it's still available for all This post has been edited by davinz18: Aug 26 2014, 11:21 PM |
