Wld lik to ask two qustion here :

1. If a bank teller 'accidently' keys-in more thn the limit tht a non-bumi can buy, wil the PNB systm reject that transaction basd on the name since it's a non-bimu name ? 

2. Is there a non-bumi limit for over-the-conter purchases too or the limit is only for new launches ? 

I have tried many times and failed on the fixed priced funds. Therefore, I am considering both ASN3 or ASG.

I have a question; how do ensure profit maximization? Should I buy when the NAB unit is highest or lowest? Thanks.

My friend's mom got abt rm300k in her asb.

So next year,she may get another rm700k from sale of her property.

Can she put all that money into her asb account or is there a limit?

Btw,she has 2 children who also has asb account.
Another thing,lets say she got that rm700k property sale and combine with her rm300k savings,she will have ard rm1.1mil  ...all into asb savings.

Here is the question,she has a bank loan running for another 15 years,loan amount abt rm350k,monthly installment abt rm1800/month.

Shud she pay off the loan with the asb savings or wait another 3/4 years,use the dividend collected and pay off?

non-bumi very hard to open new account. I cannot understand why those agents don't want to help us.

Yesterday is the best time to open new account, but they still give some stupid reason.

Even my best friend failed to open new account

maybe that's could be one of the reason. 
do u know how much Commission the agents gets for doing ASNB transaction? $1 per transaction? 

I also believe so...

However, if the dividend is 6.7% which is 0.1% higher than ASW2020, I think it would be more satisfying for me..

At least AS1M outperformed ASW2020, which is what i hoped..

Not only i go to the asnb home branch, i went to post office, and some banks as well..

they said to me.. ''why take the hassle to try open the account and always try bank in for the fixed price unit trust if you can earn better returns in our ASG''..

MBB even backfire by saying ..''you see ASG returns so good.. next time when you come, just find me..''.

if you are talking about the returns of the fund, definitely have to be on a long term basis..

with the sales charge of 5%, the first year of investment might not be good but from 3rd year onwards, it should be ok..

but i am not considering any variable funds as i want peace of mind and predictable income every year.

just open my asw and as1m at cimb today, deposit only 100. want to ask if i have 50k, shud i divide 25k to asw 25k to as1m or which one shud i put more?

for non bumi AS1M additional unit purchase through maybank2u already fully subscribed,

lets say I did a transaction through m2u for additional RM 100 and already deducted the money from account, is that means I managed to purchased the RM 100 units? (non-bumi)

what is T+1?
what if they are some small units available for non-bumi?
can i say that trying your luck at m2u is the same as trying over the counter, minus the hassle of actually going to bank/pos?
