I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask this question, so I just try to post it here.

Recently contacted by this company Pinggir Armada Sdn Bhd (Prima One) and they request to see our company latest 6 months bills. They said they will get the average of those months and give us 40% discount off the bill (Outstation + International + Mobile only) if we are using their service.

Package is explained as below

Monthly Price Calculations as below:

N=National
I=International
M=Mobile Call

(N1+I1+M1)+(N2+I2+M2)+(N3+I3+M3)+(N4+I4+M4)+(N5+I5+M5)+(N6+I6+M6)=T

Then, T + 6% tax = A

A / 6 = B

And 40% Discount from B = C

C is a fixed fee to pay monthly regardless of usage.

Contract: 24 months
Trial Period: 3 days 72 hours to try and cancel. Said would have this clause in contract.
Monthly Billings:
1. To TM : Monthly Rental + Local Calls + ByPass Calls + Gov. Tax
2. To Prima One: Mobile Phone + Out Station National Calls + International = C (Fixed Price)
Conditions:
1. NO - depo, registration fee, access fee, service charge, installation cost, hidden cost, technical support

Downside:
1. They said that they have partnership with TM but TM does not recognize their package or their company name and currently is investigating about this matter.
2. If service down, need to contact them first to repair. Wait them settle before TM.

Is it worth a try? Is this somehow a trap?
We already have a saver plan with TM.
We use handphone to call handphone numbers.
Customers are normally locals and use handphones.
International calls are seasonal.
We use Skype to contact outstation which is free. (outstation normally our own branches, so family call rate if use)

Anyone tried and did you really save on the bill? Customer service good?

Hi, I was also approached by the same company on the same subject. Just wonder did yo finally sign up with their service? I am yet to revert back to them because i am still considering of their genuine.

Hi...let me tell both of you one thing only.
DONT SUBSCRIBE.

It is true regarding the saving cost but then the problem later on when bypass occur,device faulty, and their network down etc etc is very much troublesome.

Not only referring to this company..any asp is the same. Eventho tm sucks big time,but they are the main phone provider,the stability is much more better in any ways.

i am unsure about this prima one. do they need to install certain device to your phone lines first? or you just pay to them at 40% discounted price and they settle the bill to tm on your behalf?

my previous company used to pay to this kind of services:
1) they will first install certain device to our phone lines which will bypass tm
2) so we just pay the bill to the company at the discounted price, and none to tm because bill was rm0 (maybe just the rental cost)
3) tm found out and said that we cannot do that (illegal) but no action taken on us (just verbal warning)
4) this was more than 5 years ago

this is true too. as i have mentioned above, tm found out because we complain that we were unable to call out and it turned out to be that company's network was down (nothing to do with tm). and the problem was the company provide very slow support. in the end we just use tm for more stability.

Well, any freaking company no matter what name is it will do installation of either device or direct programming to your PABX system.
It is discounted as all the calls like u said will bypass tm but the quality depend on which network this provider using.

Tm is always aware of them but like u said no action taken .. whistling.gif

my company are using it.. and now TM account manager asking me why our PRI usage pattern drop drastically ? i ask him to call the OIC of department that managed telephony for answer..

Don't use this Pinggir Armada(Prima 1), their are scam. Their previous is under Ngroup. Their boss is call Mr Lim and Cavin Tan. Last time their have alot subsidairy like Pegasus,Logitel,Century,Temasek,Pure Access and alot... Now change name to Prima 1, Don't believe them.

previously there is agent keeps calling my company and the agent would set an appointment with my admin executive. when the agent met my colleague they ask for 6 months bill as they claim to give rebate up to 40% on my total bill. and then i feel something is wrong. its actually quite attractive when they claim to say their service is fixed priced bill like unifi but when it came to my mind it is not.

1st they claim they are from TM or PR1MA one which affiliates with PEMBANGUNAN RAKYAT ONE MALAYSIA as you can go to the website www.pr1ma.my they have a huge reminder saying that they do not appoint any agent or third party whatsoever to join venture with.

2nd if they are from TM why they extract details from accounts department when they have the bills database in their system.

3rd i clarified with TM there is no such matter regarding them as authorized agents (this is a major big scam)

4th why the heck would you want to split payment for 2 bills to TM & pinggir armada? i dont get it if you are claiming that you are from TM then it should be fully payable to TM right?

5th when they said is unlimited calls to all numbers please note that local calls are not included and they will install some device at your telephony system that f***s up the quality and there goes your boss reprimanding you for being a numbskull signing with this scam company.

6th the name card they provide you is fake address i already went before and there is no such company whatsoever.

7th is that they claim their gateway is using Telekom Malaysia backhaul but from what i know they are bought or rent the gateway from Redtone International Berhad.

8th when they tell you its fixed rate unlimited call, actually its not. do you know they would revise back if you call too much than what they expected? i think they are manipulating the bills at their side because when i applied, i got no idea why i did not get the itemized bill and they claim the BYPASS is the one which affect my TM.

what i know from a source from other telco (monoventure sdn bhd) that their office is actually located in Megan Avenue 2 Jalan yap kwan seng nearby ambank and it is located on the 10th floor but i forget which block.

they would tie you to a long tenure contract and once you feel something is wrong & you want to discontinue they will penalize you after you stop their service. But guess what, their agents would keep calling you again to promote the plan.

What i suggest is make a full report to police, legal lawfirm, or report to TM. Let them know that this is a major scam to corporate offices etc.

and why primaone a.k.a pinggir armada doesnt have a website? trust me, they are hiding something, smells so fishy

i heard the company is subscribing on a year contract. well contract end soon but i dunno if they wanna continued it.

the PRO - bill drop drastically - 70% reduction i tell you !

CONS - when phonelines got problem. troubleshooting will be a mess. the call saving company will blame TM, and TM will blame the call saving. the incoming PRI from TM is terminated at the call saving box then connected back to your PABX.. so troubleshooting will be rclxub.gif

there is also cases reported to TM shared by their team that there is a case of some call saving company will divert your call to china or any other country ( VOIP ) so you got risk of your call being extracted to others party. so security risk is unknown. sweat.gif
