I like the Nokia X UI and Fastlane. Performance is good for the price I paid. Quality of built and screen are better than expected.

So far, there have been updates of OS version, Nokia Store and other proprietary apps. Shows that Nokia is listening and improving its service to phone owners. Give them time to get more apps on board Nokia store, remember this OS is still a baby.

Here Maps itself is already worth the price of the phone. Free maps of most countries in the world and it works offline. Do you know how much Garmin maps cost? Hint: the price of the Garmin Australia map is more expensive than buying this phone.

The stock rom is good enough for me. I never root any of my phones and I don't intend to with my Nokia X.
I read in some discussion groups that some are complaining that they cannot have playstore or google this or that.
Why do you want google playstore if you want to buy this phone? If you want playstore or google services then buy an Android OS phone. It has been written till death that Nokia X runs on Nokia Platform X OS that can run most android apps. The apps that most ppl need can be found in Nokia Store or 1mobile.

Another thing I noticed was the comparison of Nokia X to Moto G. If I pay the amount of money Moto G cost and it has lower spec and worse performance than Nokia X then I should be shot.
Comparing Asus Zenfone 4 to it, is more fair but then again, they are different animals. One is android and the other is not. So how to compare? Afterall, what we want is how they would perform their tasks. As many has tried and tested, the Nokia X can do a lot more with lower ram and slower processor than those with more. It is about how smart they can make their smartphones.

If you want a phone to do simple things like facebook, whatsapp, phone calls and a bit of gaming then most phones can do that regardless of OS.

I chose Nokia X because it is different. I don't need to seek permission fr google to enjoy using android apps. I must admit that I am not a Nokia fan. In fact, my last phone and the one before that were Asus, I also have an Asus tablet and had an Asus laptop. Bringing myself to get the Nokia X instead of getting the Zenfone wasn't easy but I am glad that I did. I hv grown to like the simple tiled homepage and Fastlane. The UI of typical android phones seemed too busy for me now.

I just hope that Nokia will not disappoint me. I pray they will find a solution to my problem soon.

i want to recommend an emulator called ClassicBoy for nokia X. Mostly all Playstation One are playable. After installing the app, just dump your rom either in internal storage or external storage.

Very playable....here the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....classicboyLite
