No... you still need to root your device before attempting to install Play Store... Google Play Store needs to be installed as a system app, and hence the need of root access...

I think the one that I posted works witthout any root. Haven't tried it without root.

I used it to install Google Play. From there it will set up your Google account. It will automatically update to the latest version of Goglee Play.

Did u use the google apk from the link I posted? I am curious whether it works without rooting actually.

yup n another from nonyaui56. attached it on gmail n send it to him. im not sure either. we'll hve to see hydroid que coz my phone rooted but from all the gapps i only manage to install gmail. yr phone rooted too?

1. download 1mobile via nokia store then download whatsapp
2. download the apk directly from whatsapp.com, then transfer it to your memory card and install it via file manager
