Anyone has any idea when is v 11.1.1 coming to Malaysia?

I find not much lag in my stock nokia x.
No point for ppl to compare a rm349 phone with more expensive phones when it comes to spec or performance....maybe can compare with the yet to launch rm299 asus zenphone 4 in the future.
If you want a phone for gaming then be prepared to pay more.
The built of nokia x is really solid. The screen is nice. Speaker is loud. Phone call is clear. Camera is not bad, of course, don't mind if it is better.
Battery is ok...just don't play too much of angry birds.
No problem with most popular apps.
Most importantly:
Really like the idea of not being track by google.

I am curious...so do you usually use phones that are more expensive than rm300 or cheaper than rm300?
If you usually use phone that are cheaper than rm300 and they perform better than nokia x, pls share with me which brand and model because I want to save some money. Tks

Im surprised when certain people compared this phone with motorola x and samsung flagship phone...come on la, this is merely a RM300 phone and cant event compared with it...It serves me well so far and i have no regret owning it as i used it to play games like asphalt 8, whatsapp, facebook, sms, calling, surfing chrome and watching TVB latest drama...lag? not at all lor...

Same for me. Apps no lag, only going back to home page and sometimes keyboard response lag.

Finally i successfully updated to firmware 11.1.1 manually...great performance and new features..

Good news guys, now custom rom is available for nokia x.

1. Lewa OS (chinese)
2. Cyanogen Mod 10
3. Vanilla AOSP

More roms will be out soon, especially Kit Kat perhaps.

if you are on 10.0.3, u can always unroot it. But if 11.1.1, perhaps you need to reflash the firmware again via nokia suite care. I dont think is traceable.

Wow! Asphalt 8 runs great on Nokia X. I will surely try it out if I have a Nokia X. Regarding the internal memory, I believe only about 2.3 GB is accessible. For someone like me who watch videos and listen to music, a microSD card is a must. Lol.

I am just trying to figure out what are the great features of Nokia X which surpasses the Asus Zenfone 4 particularly the Here Maps and MixRadio apps. Sorry

I have been dying to try out Nokia X - the first android smartphone made by Nokia. But sadly I don't have that much money. I am just a student who receive RM4 pocket money per day. T-T

How bad is the IPS glow on your Nokia X?  Mine has IPS glow but I'm not sure whether it's very severe or not. 

BTW, is anyone here facing SD card unmount at random?  Could it be the SD card having a problem?   Hopefully it's not the phone's problem...

Some update on my case.

Issue: calls got answered in pocket.

Last Friday, someone from Nokia called and asked me some questions about my problem. We went thru more or less the same things as I did with Nokia Malaysia on facebook.

He told me that the product division will investigate and call me once they have a solution.
I told him since I hv done all the steps as instructed by them (factory reset and not installing any apps or even restore backup) and checking and re-checking lock screen setting), the problem is still there. Moreover, their technician in Nokia Care has also tested it and have no solution. Then shouldn't they give me a new replacement set?

His answer is.......
"Nokia has no such policy, we will invesigate and try to solve your problem"

!!!!???!!!!

They promise to give me a solution asap....meaning don't know when.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this policy of Nokia of not replacing defective unit.

In all fairness, Nokia service personnels have been responsive, polite and helpful.

I hv a feeling that they already know such a problem existed, even the unit in Nokia Care has the same problem but milder.
I hv read in the Nokia discussion group that others are also facing the same problem. Nokia has not answered their queries.

anyone familiar with file viewer eg - pdf? like one that recommended for nokia x. i dont want to add too much app actually. eat up ram n space memory. takot.. 

done all that. so i root my phone again for measure n reboot again. still same. do u think i need to flash previous version n root my phone from there? its jumbling up here...recently changed motherboard n suddenly my phone is 11.1.1
