For protection of any smartphone from crashes, drops and other scratches, you need to cover the screen or use cases or covers. These are some awesome cases and covers for Nokia X.

1. Pudding TPU Case:
Pudding Black TPU Case is fashioned from multiple thermoacrylics forming a case that is highly elastic and highly resistant to oil, corrosion and abrasions. Precise cutouts throughout and raised TPU cover your volume and power, for a little extra coverage. The Pudding case delivers everyday wear and tear protection.

So these are some of the cases for Nokia X. Anybody here uses casing for their smartphones?

A personal question here, do you guys prefer casing or would you rather left your phone naked? Casing offer protection but you cannot look at the beautiful bright colours of back cover of Nokia X.

I would use a casing if the casing is stylish, if not I would keep my phone in a pouch so that the phone will not be scratched when I am not using it.

I believe Nokia X is very durable and has a great build quality

Nokia phones amazing quality & reliability tested

BUILDING PHONES THAT PASS THE NOKIA LAB TEST - an article from Nokia Conversation. (just sharing some info)

Nokia is renowned for its durable and long-lasting devices. Over the decades, it’s this reliability that gives people the confidence to know that if it’s built by Nokia, it’s going to last. If a device can survive Nokia’s vigorous physical lab tests, there’s a good chance it’ll survive whatever you throw at it.

Before any device is launched, Nokia sends it to the test labs to be bashed, twisted, dropped, drenched, baked and shaken to simulate as closely as it can certain real-world situations.

In the video above we watch several Nokia phones, which include a Nokia Asha 501, Nokia 105 and a Nokia Asha 210, put through some hard-core tests.

The tumbler rotates continuously for several hours with the phone inside, giving the phone countless knocks in every way possible. Phones are dropped, rather forcefully, onto a steel floor several hundred times. And, Nokia phones are placed inside a container of fine rock dust and iron filings and shaken.

If anything fails during these tests, it’s back to the drawing board to make sure it passes next time. The same can be said about the beautiful design; if the tests also ruin the aesthetics, the phone won’t pass. Only once all the tests have been passed does a Nokia device make it to market.

Although Nokia X is not shown in the video (because it was not released at that time yet) , I believe Nokia X has gone throught such tests in the lab
