i beg to differ smile.gif it's the photographer not the equipment.

FYI, he is a 350D user and if i'm not wrong it's either the kitlens or 50mm f1.8.

Out of the world isn't it smile.gif

Canon 350D? Which picture style did he use to create such effect? I tested on 400D, all mode seems to render color normally. Playing on the white balance got differences la..., but nothing can get this greyish geng-geng look. Is it 350D better than 400D? cry.gif

Nikon or not nikon. Photoshop is a whole different thing. This is a really subjective matter. The more you learn to use it the better you'll get in terms of editing. And its not the camera that determines the quality but the man behind it. smile.gif

Teetoo and TY indeed are great photographers that i know of. But its a different style of portraiture and editing. Take Lara Jade for an example, her shots are mostly inspired by Fairy Tales and Human phobias, and She uses Photoshop to get the feel too.

For me I love dark and moody and desaturated kind of feel. But I will also experiment more on other kind of feel too.

Indeed most of them modified the colors and others. That's what they wanted to show, the mood, the feel, importantly, the art direction that they set. Thus editing plays a big roll. The key behind those is to experiment and learn more and create a style of your own.

My editing is really simple, all you have to do is to understand the masking tool in photoshop. For colors and effect, i used plug ins in photoshop. My editing skills are limited.
