QUOTE(LTZ @ Feb 23 2014, 09:22 AM) How about my case...my previous car sold on Jun 13.... and the insurance expired on dec 13. Can I transfer the NCD or just burnt like that.. my new car still with 100%. My previous car 55% already still can transfer.. ... should have done it when you bought your car ? I am currently transferrign mine.. contact my old insurance agent and get him to withdraw then fax over the documents to my SA to settle.. . alternatively you may collect the documents and go over your another car's insurance company and tell them you want to transfer NCD *I might have a clearer picture once mine is completely transferred.... QUOTE(blu3 @ Feb 23 2014, 03:22 PM) Car sold then you just go to insurance counter do endorsement -> cancel the old car policy and acquire a NCD entitlement letter and ask them to update into ISM. If the new car fall under same insurance company, you can do transfer straight sway. Other wise you need to go to the new car insurance company and do entitlement. FYI, IF you do cancellation earlier, you may entitle refund for your old car premium I did not sell my car hence I just do a transferred to my new car. Which means old car was entitled the NCD % up to the day I transferred.. keeping the old car's policy which means my next remaining months is with 0% NCD hence the top up. New car will enjoy the accumulated NCD. If you opt to let SA does it, make sure he understands it clearly because there have been many cases they just did a termination of your old car's policy....
