Ok guys, thanks beforehand for all your reply, suggestions and criticism,

Im a fps fan from east malaysia, and ive decided to buy a pc versionof bf4. My concern is that ill be playing ona laptop, with a 2gb nvidia 650m, 8gb ram and 1 terabyte memory.
Ive checked the minimum requirements to run bf4 and apparently ican run it on normal to high performance.

My questions,
1. Have anyone tried playing bf4 on laptops? If so whats your specification?
2. How is the connection on west malaysia, how about easy malaysia, it it laggy, stable or chaotic.

Ive seen the pinned thread on bf4 in this forum and im just here to find additional information.

Again, thanks beforehand,

650M? Low settings only lol. That's liek a 9600 or 9800GT for the PC.

And connection in East malaysia im not really sure bro. but let's put it..

I'm using Unifi (peninsular), and my friend is using Streamyx. we both basically get the same ping more or less. unless someone steals his bandwidth, he may experience higher ping.

Yeah, another thing is that, i forgot to mention I'm running at i7,

So, its i7, nvidia GT 650m, 8 gb ram and 1 Tera memory.

I wouldn't know if i7 would make any difference and ill be mostly playing the game while I'm at west Malaysia. So in conclusion, would i be able to achieve a 60 - 70 frame rate or what should be my expected framerate?

Again, thanks beforehand,

i7 is preferably for gaming but its core speed its important too. for quad u need to be around 2.0-2.2ghz for minimum while dual core around 2.5ghz. On graphics, i had a friend who manage to run Bf3 at his dell latitude e6530 business laptop, with a crappy nvidia 5200nvs, with all setting low he manage to get around 40 fps at 1440x900 resolution.

650M x2 (with ultrabay) gives good FPS. Personally tested.

But not if you run single card.

So I would assume that I could run bf4 at a medium to low settings to achieve 60-70 frame rate. Truth be told, im very excited to join the bf4 online multiplayer community.

Again, thanks beforehand.
