Grinding is wheel bearing? I thought usually bearing got vom vom sound like aeroplane. The faster, the louder/more obvious. Maybe brake has issue.
*
Like what you're saying, the faster i drive, the louder it is

while we are at it, is checking to coolant through reservoir tank good enuf? or must open radiator cap and check and topup there?
*
I think by checking reservoir is good enough as the radiator will vacuum of the coolant at the reservoir when not enough .
also open up the radiator cap to check on the cap whether got crack and to check on dirt accumulate on the cap.

Wow! great stuff. My left side mirror can't flip too but I don't dare to DIY it as it looks complicated.

Repairing it will cost RM200 which is quite expensive.  sad.gif

What is the DIY cost?
*
The gear itself only about Rm18 and silicone grease which i purchase earlier on for other purpose about RM29 per tube

The guide i follow this youtube, but some part he didnt show us but just play around you will know what to look for
also a good chance to clean the rubber seal as some dirt n leaf will stucked inside overtimes.

Mine left side mirror also failed to close after someone knocked it outward sometime back.
How do we know what is broken and what to buy to replace it?
Interested to DIY too but the YouTube link is not working.
Thanks.
*
For me i just bought what ever related to the parts like motor & gears as both not really that expensive so in case the other one fail to work so still got the parts to change it without paying another round of shipping fees.
You're right, it seems like the embedded link doesn't work
Here are the Link to the vids

Finally got it replaced and confirmed the grease leaks and no lubrications in the bearing
Replaced with non NTN bearings as foreman says too much fake item until he also can’t differentiate which fake or genuine

Hi City owners, may I know other than Engine Oil and Transmission Oil service, what else needs to be replaced regularly? I have bought a City in January, and it is going to be 1 year soon since I drive this car(2014 model). I'm planning to check the engine mounting as the car seems to vibrate more, compared to when I first get the car.
*
if got budget change the ATF filter as well.

in any case, i'm "lucky" after 3 years i went outside and service, and they use rain water. i specifically go back official sc and ask them drain and fill, since then, i keep tab on what the guys do in workshop. and stop them when they tried to add.

i refill it myself with coolant.
*
I think for basic cares i will perform myself like topping up washer fluid, coolant which to ensure proper fluid were use

On 11.11 i managed to grab the central air cond vent for just RM90 includes the shipping cost
The central vent plastic fin were broken and not able to adjust the airflow to me and my rear passenger, so decided to get it done right after the item arrived from China
Spend nearly an hour plus just to carefully remove the central player panel out from the dashboard

now close 132k km.
you can use the 20k reference la..
for me..i have bad experience that i shared before.
bought atf from shopee before, after change liao, gearbox a bit go crazy sometimes. didn't realize it coz i change a lot of things in that period, i thought its something else.
so after i persist a year and change atf fluid last year. gearbox become good back. baru realize maybe coz its the atf i bought online.
so this year is the 2nd time i change ATF after the incident.

as bro Thrust mentioned, changing ATF fluid don't drain all your atf fluid from the system. probably just a quarter of the total atf in the system.
so now i will follow around 1 year change once ATF.

now much more smoother than las year  laugh.gif
*
Mine bought from Shopee but not Honda ATF
im using fully synth ATF from Penrite, so no issue just only wish to change it due to near 20k mileage
