the oil if its too thin, yes likely the engine can go smoother, but the thin oil might not give you the better protection as a slickier oil ... so thin

but thats my own opinion la

there is no such comparison ...

stick to semi, if you are maintaining a 5k service interval, go full syn if you wanna go 10k

but a lot will also go full syn if they tend to rev the engine high all the time

if you want better oil, use after market ones like Liqui Moly, Torco, Mobil and much more ... go read about them

i also dont really know what to recommend ... as there are from 150 onwards for semi, in which is you use honda can get full syn edy ... or those 240 a bottle or even the ones for high rev vtec engines which cost you like 80 a litre ...

Thanks for your detail giving... notworthy.gif

Done for 10k service today, I have voucher for 25% discount for engine oil (Fully) and oil filter, so asked from the staff how much different between Semi and Fully, he told me about RM15 after the Fully oil has discount, end up go again with the Fully.

Additionally, I have told him remove all the optional item.

Bill payment is about RM200, one of the item listed is alignment & balancing, may I ask is this optional or compulsory?? hmm.gif

tyre rotation u mean?
normally recommended every 10,000 km
*
No, is change the tyres...

In order for me to change all 4 tyres together, I need to exchange the tyres from front to rear and the rear change to front, after 5 years (example), then I'm able to change all 4 at the same time, because I wanna try for other brand of tyres instead of using back the same tyres.

If no exchange, this is not good to be use the different tyres at the front/rear, such as
rear tyres = CPC2
Front tyres = XM2

The front tyre is the 3rd set. The back tyre is my 2nd set.

I think I swap to Yokohama 15" tyre when my mileage is at 35k, then the front type worned out so I had to replace that first at 50k and since they don't carry the same Yokohama model, I had to pick a different brand.

Now running on Bridgestone Ecopia for the front, and the back tyre is Yokohama brand (forgot the model).

As I said, it feels the same to me even with 2 different brand of tyre. Haha.

haha, Alright thanks for your information ya rclxms.gif

Hello,

My 2013 City's spare key with alarm is not working. The "battery" seems flat, even I never use it when I get it, about a year ago.

Anyone know how to fix it?
How to replace the battery?

Thanks.
*
Is it advisable swipe to use between two keys?

I have just leave aside without using also

Honda now recommends owners to use Panasonic batteries as it has a higher cold crank amphere (CCA) than Century Marathoner. This might help for user facing hard to start the engine.
*
How much for it if change from honda??

Is it void warranty if change outside shop??

QUOTE(vuilun @ Dec 19 2014, 05:02 PM)
Agreed with you.
My city original battery last for 18 months only.
Suddenly batt dead without any signal in office, force to jump start and get a new battery

It is recommended to swap front & to rear every 10,000km.. But I do it every 15,000-20,000km depending on feel of the steering & whether alignment is out.

Replace all 4 new tyres are subjective. There are a lot of anomalies that will affect the lifetime of a tyre. Some tyres last a lot longer than other, how we drive the car, how we take care of the tyres etc..

It is recommended to replace every 4 years though..
*
This could be really subjective. The tyre shop advice me to swap on 20k, change all 4 new tyres on 40k

Feel not bad with stock tyre CPC2, wanna give a try with XM2 when the time to change all 4 smile.gif

mine is covered with the number plate from day 1, requested the number plate with no key hole

if you guys already kena cucuk, you have 2 options

$$$ = replace the lock and replace entire whole key set(as you should be cautious that the thief not only wanted access to ur trunk, he might have also took the lock out and used it to duplicate another key) and he might come back for the car next time
$$ = replace just the back lock only and u get an extra key for the trunk
$ = disengage the lock(means cannot use the lock to open trunk as ur lock is already faulty at this point) then cover up the hole with a new plate number
*
Unfortunately to say that I have encounter since new car after few days mad.gif

I don't even bother to replace with the new one as this is costly (my bro replace 2 times and still kena... doh.gif )

Just that sometimes is inconvenience which is need to open trunk from car inside
