What add ons are you using?

Glad to help. MiBox is not the most stable KODI player. I do need to reinstall KODI a couple of times when I was using MiBox. But with sufficient disk space, it will help with the stability.

Not too sure. You may research a bit in this thread or other threads. Guess the names that often come up when it comes to Android TV are Himedia or Minix. I am only speaking based on my experience using Mibox.

It's ok to revert to Astro. I have advised people before, if they are Die-hard Sports fan, it's better they stick with Astro and pay for the certainty and hassle free. If you want free stuff  you have to put up with inconveniences.

Btw, there's one link for NBCSN started working again a few days ago. It's found in the Vdubt25 addon-USA Sports category. The first 3 links which doesn't need VPN, unfortunately still not working on my end. But as you scroll further down, there is another isolated  NBCSN (SD) link that works, but don't know for how long this time.
