Rpi out-of-the-box output audio jack is only good for headphone sound quality. If you want audiophile sound you need to get sound card add-on board like HiFiBerry, IQAudio or Wolfson. But all 3 brands give you only 2 channel. I have not come across brands with more channels. Me planning to buy HiFiBerry....PM me for bulk purchase.This is the only device i have never tested or used and would be happy to buy if it supports the above.
