The MiBox has been known to have issues with kodi. Think you have more of a system problem than a kodi issue since your box is reporting insufficient memory despite having freed up sufficient memory. Well, you can get the latest and stable versions from Kodi's website. Download using a browser on the MiBox.

Try uninstall and install.again.
But u might lose some channels if u duno what the seller setup which repo.
Anyway just install back superepo and tvapp repo shuld br sufficient

Look for this icon, open it and goto Settings.
U will see normal android-like settings.

Goto the Apps section and uninstall which app u dont need.
Or look for Kodi/xbmc app and clear the data/cache.
U might lose all the settings but should able to launch kodi and install the repos.

Because its Android, it actually has 2 partition, 1 for OS and anothet for Data storage.
Although builtin memory is quite big but OS space still limited.
So over time, OS space will get less and cause kodi to hang.
Just clear some space and u are good to go.

p/s: those memory clear apps only clear the "ram" not internal storage.
