If u just recently installed Kodi, i dont think u can sew Genesis addon anymore.
Look for Exodus instead

I don't think what you are asking for is possible.. At the pace KODI has been developing, there's a huge gap between the Helix & latest Jarvis version.. Besides the obvious added features, etc, there have been tons of code improvement & changes under the hood. So if running Jarvis smoothly isn't possible on your current hardware, then guess it's not meant to be. The only other tip I can think of, besides running unofficial forks, is to install KODI versions incrementally.. I.e. 14 > 15 > 16. Running and quitting KODI in between installs.. See if that helps, else just stick with Helix or get a more compatible hardware...

if i understand your question correctly:

1. you installed helix
2. you used some repo suitable for helix
3. you upgraded to isengard
4. repo is still helix

in that sense you have to uninstall that repo, and reinstall the repo made for isengard addons.

While the above method should work for installed third party addons, I believe jAkUn was asking about the official KODI addons repository. Thing is, with every KODI release, a separate (branched off) official repository is created; Like a sub-directory and each is designed to be accessed by a matching version. I.e. Helix - Helix repo, Jarvis - Jarvis repo... This is to prevent compatibility issues between addons written for a particular KODI version from being "broken" as progress is made.

jAkUn in a separate thread was asking about the Food Network HD addon present in Isengard and Jarvis. Attached below are clean zip files of the Food Network HD addon, extracted from both the Isengard & Jarvis repo. Successfully installed v3.0.1 on Jarvis 16.0, able to watch Barefoot Contessa Full Episodes, etc...
