Hi guys, I was wondering will a better spec Android TV box make KODI menu pages loading quicker and overall more responsive?

I updated to Kodi Jarvis in my Android TV box, customised few settings, later restarted the box, the settings were all gone and it reset back to default. >< Anyone facing similar issue?
