No offense, but how much did you pay for your foldie? Because cheap disc brake memang no Gooding..

is it a new bike?

does it have stopping power?

u can adjust the pad closer to the disc, but don't let it rub when u r not braking..

i have a trinx with cheap disc brake oso... stopping power is ok, can use..
if u feel the v brake 'hole' is ugly... u can buy alu anodized cap to cover it... 

I'm the same, serious riding I'll still use a roadbike.  Foldies, just ride for fun or to somewhere that I can bring the bike with me. I will always advise to stay away from cheap foldies as they ride terrible and you won't want to ride it.

Free....... this lady gave it to me, she rode it twice.  After I got it, went for a ride. what absolute rubbish!!  Goes to show if you buy cheap it is actually expensive as you won't ride it! hahaha

if u eye the java, do check out xds as well...

dont just base on recommendation frm ppl / bike shops...

Went to a bicycle shop. Look see look see.
Got these two brands.
XDS AFB 630 - 20" wheel, 16 speed, disc brake
and
Nakxus 20F048 - 22" wheel, 24 speed, disc brake

Which one is a better buy?

Mine is also Veroli bike with 22" wheel. Mine handle bar fold btw when it's folded.

Ur bike dealer should hv teached u how to fold the bike during u bought it. The handle bar must be turned until the brake handle face under (face toward the ground) otherwise the handle bar it's difficult to fold in the middle.

How much u bought that bike? Is it 22" wheel? I bought it @ $1,600 with free helmet & bottle handler.

There r plenty of other bikes to choose frm.

Foldie tht can stand proper don't nid the stand under the bb.
