my advice, dont get cheapskate with tires....Archiles tires is cheapo tire..dont need to get those very very expensive tires if u cannot afford but at least those known brand like yokohama, falken, goodyear, hankook..get the lowest entry series of those brand..

Entry level tires even for branded brand are not really very good as well but it is far more reliable to me...i've heard bad stories on Archiles n Nexun/Neuton(i can't remember)

yea agree....I've seen so much cases of tyre bloating, side wall cracking, and customer complain of noisy, and bad handling during wet weather and most of all, their average mileage for each tyre is about 30K-40K km(for heavy car, normally worn out by 25K km).

only consider these tyre IF the car is rarely use/only use for short distance due to the cheaper tyre price.

for normal/regular usage (milage about 15K km to 25K km per year), there are many cheaper yet reliable tyre brand in the market like DUNLOP, VIKING, SILVERSTONE (definitely not M3 and M5 model), yokohama, goodyear, continental and now even TOYO malaysia (NEO 3). these type of tyre normally can last average 45K km to 60K km.

for heavy user (those who travel more than 5000 km a month), from my observation on salesmen car and highway taxi, MICHELIN XM2 is the most value for money tyre in the long term. cos it can last more than 100K km compare to other brand while the price different with other reputable brand is just around 30% extra.(not forgetting the reliability of tyre).

To me, it always depends on budget and size of the tires as not all the type of tires series covers all sizes

Michelin XM2 can last more than 100K KM? I dunno how true is that but i only believe 5% of that statement honestly and XM2 is the basic entry model of Michelin which is pricey to me..opt for PS3 if there is suitable size for your car. I'm currently using Hankook V12..i would say it could last easily 35K-40K by judging the thread wear n there now

i'm not treating Achilles tire like a active timebomb but advisable to get a better tire to me if you can afford. Nowadays ppl are more self cautious with car safety n all...i've seen ppl that wants their car with EPS, 6 airbag, ABS n all sort of safety feature but when comes to tires, they said the cheaper the better cause seldom drive/seldom drive far

Its not wrong to think like that but for me, I think the first safety part of the car is the tires
