QUOTE(daidzz @ Aug 1 2006, 05:37 PM) btw , should i get the asian xbox? and hw much is it for the VGA monitor ? and is 1280x1024 a better res compared to the component cable? It is recomended for you to get Asia version since you don't need to deal with the hassle of using step-down transformer on Japan / US Xbox 360. Djinn is selling official Microsoft VGA cable for RM 124.90. As for VGA vs Component, psp _BOY said that VGA looks better than Component. He said that Component looks too sharp. |

QUOTE(rhoyo @ Aug 2 2006, 07:59 PM) IF you actually read the first page, you can find the answer there.QUOTE For the games, a title from Asia seems to always work in a Japanese console, but the reverse, Japanese game on Asian console doesn't always work. For Bullet Witch, according to this page, Japanese Bullet Witch doesn't work on Asian Xbox 360. Don't fret, Asian Bullet Witch is coming out on 4th August. |

QUOTE(yc_83 @ Aug 3 2006, 05:31 PM) Hi, If you buy original Microsoft VGA-HD cable, the adapter to connect the cable to your PC speaker is included. If you buy ciplak cable, then you have to buy the speaker adapter separately. On the speaker connection issue. If i would to use an my LCD from my PC to hook it up to Xbox, how do i connect the cable to my speaker? Do i need to get some home entertainment unit to hook it up? |

QUOTE(hikaru_x @ Aug 3 2006, 07:50 PM) no dont do that! the red and white goes to front L/R satelites, they're output ports, not input.... use the included RCA to Stereo jack and plug it into the green hole, then set the switch to 2 channel. Lol, I don't have that speaker so I don't know. Thank you hikaru_x for the correction. |

QUOTE(scpt @ Aug 17 2006, 01:27 AM) QUOTE(hikaru_x @ Aug 17 2006, 01:35 AM) Yes, I searched every shop at Sungei Wang / Imbi / Lowyat and there are no original cable. Only third party cable are available. Price? Around RM 40 - RM 70 depending on shop. For original cable, the shops said that we must order first. When I asked the price, they just say "The cable is over RM 100", when I asked at Imbi Mario, Connie said that the cable will cost RM 180, which I think is way overpriced. |

QUOTE(SithBuster @ Aug 23 2006, 12:08 AM) Can anyone tell me what's the cheapest price for an Xbox 360 here in Imbi and SW? Can I get the Japanese set for under RM1000? Thanks in advance.... Some shop are selling Japanese set for as low as RM 900, but I believe that price have no stepdown transformer included (you have to buy separately) and no game as well. |

Console or game? For the console, the first time you turn it on, a language selection menu will be available, and yes "English" is one of those selection.

QUOTE(daidzz @ Aug 24 2006, 11:49 PM) Yah, but here anything can happen. When you ask the price, they will say RM 900, you think it's cheap and you want to buy. When it's the time to pay, they will say "Actually, this price doesn't include these parts & these parts, to get them, you have to add RM xxx". I saw this happens few times before. Better buy from shop that you are familiar with. |

QUOTE(FayeChan @ Sep 18 2006, 06:54 PM) Little question: How is the software emulation for the XBOX games on 360? Any problems experienced so far? I've tried playing Halo 1 on my Xbox 360. The game can boot directly (without the need to download any update) but the graphic are full of jaggies. After I update the emulation software, the problem has gone. |

QUOTE(FayeChan @ Sep 19 2006, 12:45 AM) This I believe the updates can be updated via downloaded from your computer, burned to disc/saved on USB, and then transferred over to the XBOX 360 am I right? Yup, you're right. You can either download the emulator update from Xbox.com and burn them into a CD / DVD (you can't update it from USB though) or download the update from Xbox Live.Or alternatively the 360 is already connected to a BB connection so just get it off from the 360 main site. QUOTE(|Keantan| @ Sep 19 2006, 12:52 AM) nope cannot i dont think, only dashboard updates can do that, game updates you need to be connected your xbox 360 direct to the net thru' xbox live, free silver acc can get updates and stuff but gold needed to game properly For Xbox 1 backward compatible game, you can either download the emulator update through Xbox.com and burn it to a disc, or download the update via Xbox Live. More info here.As for game patches for Xbox 1 game (eg, Halo 2), the only way you can download them is by connecting your Xbox 360 to Xbox Live. |
