I meant TP earn NOT from M2C Premier is not allowed to use 4.5:1 ratio.
1.65 weeks I assumed?  tongue.gif
*
But if you cancel your other Maybank cards and only Premier remains - the TPs would move there and then you can use them to redeem at 1K:7K? Thought I read some had success doing this. Bit of a hassle though unless you really want to cancel those other cards anyway.

I'm not sure what to do with all my TPs yet, no upcoming trips so far, collect more for now drool.gif

i find sometimes VI better rate than AR..
so do check the rate from time to time..maybe montlhy? smile.gif
*
For me AR always works out as a better rate compared to VI for the transactions I checked.

My cards are due to expire on 01/15 so now need to wait for replacements. In the meantime Maybank is blocking all my online transactions and I have to call each time to unblock temporarily doh.gif

man so fast 1 year? luckily even though i pledge fd (topping up) they gave me 3 years validity tongue.gif
*
Not Malaysian, so with FD they only ever give me 1 year validity - same with MBB2 cards and other VI also.

Anyway, time to get replacements as cards went through the washing machine other day, since then the chip has been a bit problematic doh.gif

Citi with FD gave me 5 year validity rclxub.gif

Hmm strange - sometimes when abroad I get asked if I want to put transaction through in MYR or HKD (for example) , I'll always pick foreign currency and never had this issue yet.

Don't really use any other cards any more .. pretty much everything goes through the Amex.

Maybank treatspoints catalog is great too ... I've redeemed stupid amount of stuff in the last year

Looking forward to using my Enrich miles soon biggrin.gif

From my experience, fastest way is to place FD then contact the MBB Premier card centre to apply, only visit the branch once you have the offer letter from them in the post.

I did this way for VS and Premier also - was much faster this way than doing the whole thing in branch (which I did for MBB 2)

I have about RM20k to spend over paypal in the next month or so. Transactions will be in USD so will it make more sense to use Visa Infinite or Amex Reserve? Both should give me 5x TP since it's overseas spending. I get to skip Paypal's horrible conversion rates since it's charged in USD but which is more worthwhile or is there even any difference?

TIA.
*
From my experience, Amex reserve exchange rate is usually better. I'll dig out my last statement and do a recentish comparison

Have a look in FD thread.

It's FD-i (Islamic) , interest is paid out upfront upon placement.

guys, i wanna convert my 500k TP to airline miles, how to do that and when is the best time to do?

thanks !
*
Online is easiest, takes a few days only normally.

https://www.maybankard.net.my

Sometimes there's promotions like 10-15% extra miles, depends how urgent you need them to book.

Bro,

All europe route need double miles to redeem now?  cry.gif And also can someone shed some lights on zone 7 whereabout?
*
Here's current one, shows zones also

http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enri...a-airlines.html

The PDF you linked to doesn't show difference between flex and smart though...

Edit : It does, am on phone so couldn't check PDF properly.

So like LHR one way in First has gone from 160k to 260k... 100k Enrich miles more than previously. The online redemption currently is 134k miles

2.5 million?

20 x RM100 vouchers is 500k TP

Another 900k to go, so redeeming 1.4 million

Wow, this time they are allowing RM2K  rclxms.gif  The last inflation, they were only allowing max RM1K of Aeon vouchers. The balance TPs, I walked over to Parkson to redeem but unfortunately no vouchers available anymore. I ended up buying some electronic stuff from Sen Q. So if you have more TPs to redeem, it's better to do it Asap.

I was told by the CS at 1U, on BAU, there is no limit on the vouchers redemption.
*
Actually I called up card centre at Gardens before going to 1U (1U branch wasn't answering the phone) and they told me I could only redeem rm1k of vouchers at a time, but 2k at 1U. Will probably go next week and do the remaining 3.6K (unless the Enrich promotion on the 16th is interesting).

What's BAU?

I went to the Card Center at 1U yesterday. They ran out of Parkson Vouchers and other vouchers (IKEA, ISETAN, AEON etc) are expiring soon so not worth it in terms of the Voucher's Validity, IMHO. Expiring in March, I think.

They advised to either wait for restock or go to other Card Center. Can also go to department stores to redeem.

I've confirmed with them, if you want to transfer treatpoints, gotta cancel your cards first. They don't allow if you simply want to transfer it.

I also confirmed they can't transfer treat points from Principal to Supplemental Card or from one individual to another, which was what I wanted to do.

Anyways, I was planning to redeem Parkson Vouchers. Anybody here can say if its good idea? or should I redeem other vouchers? I'm looking to buy baby clothes/items and household stuff too.
*
Aeon vouchers don't have an expiry date - maybe wait for those? I prefer AEON because of this, and most my groceries come from there so it makes sense.

Guess they were low on stock there when I went also, hence limiting redemption to 2k.

they should have foreseen this if Maybank want to inflate the TP. sure everyone panic and go redeem all.

Just like gas price up, all cars are lining up to fill gas.
*
Maybe it's done that way on purpose?

They didn't give that much notice and maybe some will be lazy to go multiple times and only end up doing their redemption after the points are worth less biggrin.gif
