The points are tied up to respective cards even if I cancel all the cards? How do you consolidate the points between existing Amex and MC(Maybankard2),  principal and supplementary cards? Thank you.

I believe Enrich miles are valied for 3 Years.

If you have points on existing card which redeems at 7000 TP to 1K Enrich , you can't "move" those points to then get 1K Enrich for 4500 TP, if that makes sense.

The agent informed me that i'll be receiving my new cards by tomorrow. will cancel my amex 2 cards and transfer all the points to the amex reserve

i have to cancel in order to transfer all my points(ard 800k treatpoints) to the my amex reserve. planning to redeem more enrich miles. will re-apply the mbb2 cards after that

Ah, dilemna.  I just applied for the Maybank VISA infinte and the AMEX platinum card last november.  I also having the AMEX 2 card for the 5% weekend rebate.  I went for the AMEX platinum cause I want the unlimited plaza premier lounge access.

I have paid the RM 50 GST for both VI and AMEX platinum.  So if i were to switch to this new 2 card combo, I have to pay another RM 50x2 again?  Maybe I should not switch then.  I know I can hit the RM50k per annum spending on VI, but now the 2card combo requires RM80k, not sure if I can hit that.

Maybe I should just stay with my current VI with Amex Platinum, and still keep using the mayban amex 2 card for weekend 5% rebate.

And yeah, i was told my one maybank officer over the counter, to maximise points, all the 5x points u've earned with Amex 2 card, just cancel them, they will xfer to ur remaining maybank card, so if it's VI, then ur treatpoints value will increase cause it will qualify u to be able to redeem enrich miles at lower value.  He said it's been done before, but he's not suggesting me to do it, hehe.

First year is free. Second year onwards annual fee is RM 2.3k i think.  No options to waive.  Just gonna utilise it as much for this 1 year subscription.

ah my mistake, it's the amex plat credit cardd with annual fee RM800.

Does premier card has 5% cash back for weekends? It would be much better if they can raise it to 100-500 instead of the current rm 50 paltry sum in accordance with its premier status.

Just called Maybank CS again, Yap... my application has been approved now. They'll send the cards to me on next monday 

May I ask when did you submit your application? My dad submitted his on Sunday and received SMS stating "your Maybankard Application has been approved". on Tuesday. But up to now still no news from one utama card centre as he request to collect from there.

I requested to be sent to my home address too..  Let see I will get' maybank' only or not hehe

I guess the Maybankard Centre has lots of old stock. For my case, I requested it to be sent to my home, maybe from HQ and that's why new stock 

Why don't you call CS and ask how to go about getting the one without "Maybankard".... without being charge replacement fee (since you just got yours).
