QUOTE(Gen-X @ Feb 28 2014, 02:12 PM) Alex.Yong and Dozz Oppss... thanks for remind us! maybe we should talk about number in private ... lolConsidering the AMEX is so easy to be used for fraud, why you guys want to let the world know its first digit of the last 5 numbers. But since you guys talking about number, how nice if I can get one that ends with 818 |

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Mar 2 2014, 10:18 AM) I just called One U Card Centre, they told me that the cards already at their place... Have you got the card on hand now?I just wonder why they don't call me yesterday as the cards had arrived? If not I will use the Amex Reserve for my yesterday's transactions.. Anyway, I will be going to collect them by this evening... |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 5 2014, 11:22 AM) Considering to do the same - even if you can reach the minimum spend on both cards to get AF waiver it doesn't make much sense to keep unless you need 2x Priority Pass cards (ie. 10 entries per year, rather than 5) which would make the RM50 worthwhile. Yeah... i don't need 2X PPC from maybank, because i have other bank credit card which allow me to access lounge too. Guess i better cancel the current VI card and then transfer all the auto debit and points to new card. |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Mar 5 2014, 11:54 AM) Same situation here. The last few times I travelled only ever once had enough time to use PP lounge, and for that my Citibank could be used anyway Thats right... i guess we should just cancel the current VI card..Will only get used if I happen to have a long stopover somewhere, less than 5 times a year anyway. |

QUOTE(herc @ Mar 6 2014, 02:17 PM) I went to a branch just now, talk to the officer, he get me fill in a form (forgot the title, not ordinary CC application form), then I have my current MBB2Cards info filled in, together with some basic personal info, then at remark section he wrote that I'm interested with the M2C Premier. According to CS told me last week, currently Premier card is soft launched only... official launching date should be within these 2 weeks time.He then said will submit to card approval centre, and ask me to call CS a week later to check on the status. Asked him regarding the pledge FD stuff, he said need to wait HQ to decide, if they accept pledge, they will inform the branch then only I do the pledge. Pledge FD is subject to approval too, he can only assist, cannot approve on the spot, need permission from the HQ, and funny thing is, he doesn't know the Premier card exist, haha. |

QUOTE(or_ca @ Mar 6 2014, 02:53 PM) i told that im VI card holder…they told that still need to fill up new application form…im thinking i not meet the right person when call in? Yap, different CS tells different story. Few of us here apply thru the phone without fill up any form, and now we already received the cards. Keep trying... hope you will get someone right to help you over the phone. |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Mar 20 2014, 11:33 AM) I just published my comprehensive review of the Maybank 2 Cards Premier, took me more than a week to compile and write the said article. The article/review covers the followings: I will go to Japan next week.. I'll spend both cards Visa IV and AMEX at the same day and see whats the conversion rate like. Update later!1. Why I wanted the Maybank 2 Cards Premier; 2. Real life image of my new Maybank 2 Cards Premier American Express Reserve and Visa Infinite beside my old stand alone Maybankard Visa Infinite. Of course the cards numbers' have been photoshop by yours truly; 3. Standard Card Benefits of both the AMEX Reserve and Visa Infinite; 4. Why the Maybank 2 Cards Premier has the best returns compared to any other credit card in the market; 5. Maybank 2 Cards Premier is the BEST Credit Card in The World. Reason being there is no other credit card with annual income requirement of USD60K/year that earns you 1 Enrich Mile for every USD0.30 spent anywhere on planet earth; 6. What you should do if you hold a Maybank Credit Card; 7. How to go about converting your Treats Points to Enrich Miles; 8. Foreign currency exchange rate, you will be surprised to find out that my AMEX has a better conversion rate compared to all my other Visa Infinites; 9. Places that accept AMERICAN EXPRESS; 10. Where to apply for the Maybank 2 Cards Premier; and much more other related stuff. Please click here to read my article titled Maybank 2 Cards Premier - Comprehensive Review of The No.1 Best Credit Card in Malaysia and Possibly The World too. Dozz, please report back your AMEX and VI transactions overseas to compare conversion rates. Alec.Yong, if you find that the above said article can benefit others, would appreciate you provide link to it in Post#1. |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 16 2014, 09:57 AM) I just posted my Aussie transactions with my Maybank 2 Cards Premier AMEX Reserve versus Visa Infinite in my latest article titled A Little Bit Of this and A Little Bit Of That - Vol.1, Chapter IV. Hi Gen X and all!For the benefit of those of you not interested in reading about stuff that I write about, here are the transactions: Maybank 2 Cards American Express Reserve: AUD44.19 RM135.9 Conversion Rate: 3.0753564 Maybank 2 Cards Visa Infinite: AUD156.80 RM486.06 Conversion Rate: 3.09987 Dozz - managed to perform any overseas transactions yet with your MBB 2 Cards Premier? I'm back to this forum again. Yap, i just come back from Japan few days ago. I purposely use different cards on the same day transactions. I checked my credit card statement online and here the outcome : Maybank 2 Card Visa Infinite Transaction date : 28 March 2014 Yen : 1890.00 RM : 118.21 Conversion Rate: 0.03290 Transaction date : 27 March 2014 Yen : 3420.00 RM : 112.56 Conversion Rate: 0.03291 Maybank 2 Card AMEX Reserve Transaction date: 28 March 2014 Yen : 1890.00 RM : 62.01 Conversion Rate: 0.03280 Transaction date: 27 March 2014 Yen : 3100.00 RM : 101.74 Conversion Rate: 0.03281 Obviously Maybank 2 Amex Reserve card give us cheaper conversation rate in oversea transaction. |
