I just got my silver htc one from directd yesterday. So far so good, Jan '14 batch.

One thing, i'm having problem sharing wifi hotspot with my laptop. My laptop just couldnt connect. Is there any setting that i have to make?

Apart from the camera, I think every aspects of this phone is good including battery life.

4.7" fit to my hand, if 5" penat loo mau taip while driving...
and M7 n M8 n0 big diff, just proc, duo camera etc...
if got 64bit arch, surely i buy...  

Anyone facing *phone not charging* issue ? It happens to me once in a while . Left my phone charging but it got stuck at random % .

saw it over at Android Central, someone rooted it and the camera interface is niceeeee! Hope HTC retains Sense 6's camera, though functions will definitely be limited.
yup, it's great, I love it. Smudges are pretty bad, though. But I've never felt safer.

The Glass Screen Protector is going to make sliding the middle piece in a very challenging proposition.

The top and bottom piece probably will fit since not covered with screen protector .

spent a good deal of money protecting the glass.. don't wanna downgrade to normal screen protection anymore, nono. I'll try to see if it fits, hopefully it does. If it doesn't.. either I keep it or hello garage sales.

I'm having trouble with my M7. The updates for the 4.20.707.6 keeps popping up. Is there any ways that I can disable this without download the update. I heard the update is still contains some bugs here and there, so I dowan to update at this time. Issit true?


One more thing is when I want to check my data usage, the graph wont show my usage so far, but below it, there's my usage for the month. I try to look around for setting or something but I cant find anything related to this.

My battery life is also ok, compare to my previous samsung s4 i think at least 30-40% longer. Full charge takes my from morning 7am till night 10pm then left less than 5%. With moderate usage.

But i find it weird, sometimes it shows 5% for a while, and immediately 1% and shuts off. its like from 5% become 0% in 5 minutes. no idea y.

Yeah I notice on my 3 previous HTC One too, custom doesn't help much even the most optimised ROM which is Viper still drain like stock.
