I'd like to ask. I've been using my HTC One for quite awhile now and the common problem which is the purple tint has been there for a long time now. I finally can't tolerate it anymore so I wanna send it in for warranty. Plus, my battery life is very unstable. I can plug it in at 100% and remove it, then it'll decrease to 90-ish percent in a minute or two.

What I'm concerned with is, will they use the "it has been in contact with water" reason with me? Not that my phone has dropped in water or anything before, I'm just not sure if a few drops of water might have hit the water receptor strips internal of the phone.

Just send my hp to SC. they said need to wait at least more than 4 week since camera replacement is unavailable and awaiting to arrive.

Regarding the 'machine' things and the green tilt, one of the crew said the machine actually a device where they calibrate the camera back. So after calibrate, the actual software update will perform to overcome the green tilt.

Which SC did you send your phone to?

4 weeks is really, to be honest. I sent mine at Times Square SC and they told me 7-8 days.

where did you usually purchased your micro-usb cable? the original one or the cheap one? do they have big different? currently my cheap usb charge very slow and wondering if buying new original cable will solve the problem. if yes how much usually?

It's always better to purchase an original one. For charging difference, an original cable will definitely have your phone charging faster and much more stable than using a cheap cable.

I called HTC, they insisted on having receipt or warranty card before can accept phone for repair. I said can't they check using IMEI number, they said cannot.

That's odd. I walked in SC without anything but my phone and they accepted it. I've even accompanied a friend before this and he did the same, they accepted his too.

Ya i called the customer service, they ask me to just walk in.

Apparently jz by checking the imei number they can tell whether the phone still under warranty or not. So I guess the Imei is good enough unless there is some dispute.

Btw, anyone send the phone for RMA? do you get a replacement phone? I really dun have a spare phone to use la...

They stopped providing spare phones for use. I have been living phone-less for more than a week now icon_question.gif

It's already been 13 days and HTC has still not called me. I sent in my phone for warranty due to purple tint. I call them every 2 days and they keep telling me that it's still under repair. Any of you had to wait this long for theirs to get repaired, or is it only me?

Exactly same, I called them almost everyday for follow up, they keep giving me same answer, they have no visibility to service center, they just check status from their system only, giving empty promise and don't know what happen actually, worst service ever! is there any way to escalate? Can't stand anymore!  mad.gif

I've heard that their call center is actually not located in Malaysia.
