So you're shifting one column to the right, does it have to be in the same row?
If it doesn't then it's easy, you don't even need a macro

Based on the description of boon77 it sounds more like swapping
Since normal excel formula can't do cell moving/shifting/swapping for you, I'm afraid you'll have to use Macro script |
